Insufficient heating in winter time for the size of the room and nothing at all in the bathroom. Breakfast should be included!

It was open and clean and very comfortable with a fire place inside the room.

Big rooms with lots of space. Clean bathrooms. Great swimming pool and enough space for children to play. Place is perfect for more than one family traveling together - various compartments on the same premises. On arrival there were already wood in the braai - absolutely attention to detail on everything.

Very welcoming, clean rooms, gorgeous pool, and lovely gardens. Fully equipped kitchen & great braai facilities. During loadshedding, we still had lights and TV working.

it all looked lovely but unfortunately due to the v heavy rain we couldn’t explore Staff really helpful and facilitated our late arrival and recommended Christelles restaurant which we really enjoyed. thank you

due to load shedding it was difficult to find our way to the property

very good stay, will definitely return. Very professionally run by Lana and her staff, she really takes her job seriously. i like to walk so a good challenging walk from the town back up to the retreat. no complaints, really nice place.

would be nice to have a proper stove etc in the kitchen for longer stays but i suppose this is not really the market.

The spacious room was like a little house with anything you could possibly need. Very well equipped kitchen and massive bathroom. The bed was amazing - huge and extremely comfortable. I felt like moving in! There was a lovely pool too. Great helpful staff.

Not a great deal of privacy in the outdoor areas outside the room and I was expecting a view. A touch pricey perhaps.

The decor was artistic and there was a creative use of the space. We loved the proximity to the nature reserve and beautiful surroundings- mountains, forest; we enjoyed the cycling trails being so close by.

Our unit was quite close to adjoining units so we could hear the conversations and music being played by others when we sat outside.
