Description of space offered to travelers: Welcome to all in French Polynesia! This cozy bungalow is built in our garden, not overlooked with our house. You will have access to the bungalow and a pool deck. The property is located in a quiet and secure residence, on the heights of Punaauia, west coast of Tahiti. The breathtaking view of the lagoon and Moorea will seduce you. We offer discounts from a week: 16% discount from the 7th night. The bungalow has a covered terrace with private kitchen (fridge freezer, double sink, gas hob 2 burners, microwave, coffee maker, teapot, toaster, kitchen accessories) and two bedrooms: a large room with a large bed 2mx2m can accommodate 1 couple or 1 person alone or can be divided into 2 King Single for 2 people traveling together. Another large bedroom with a 160X200 queen size bed. The bungalow can accommodate 4 people. It has a bathroom with shower, 2 basins and a separate toilet. You can surf the internet for free wi fi, enjoy the sun loungers and the pool (the pool is a common part to share with us) or the covered terrace with a table and chairs for your meals. We inform you that we do not accept invitations (visit, dinner ...) or parties. The interior spaces are non-smoking. Are present in the property two dogs and two cats well educated and sociable (no problem with children). General description: We will advise you on mountain walks or sports trail, aquatic courses in fins, mask, snorkel (skate, shark, turtle, reef fish). But also orient yourself to the service providers for other activities. FREE: Coffee and tea available for free in the bungalow. Tap water is drinkable. This is the perfect base from which to explore Tahiti. The bungalow is just minutes from the airport, grocery store, beaches and restaurants. The hilltop view and private pool invite you to relax and enjoy the stay. Frederick was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout our visit.

We had a wonderful time at Frederic’s property on Tahiti. The property was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The view of Moorea is incredible and the surrounding area is private and peaceful. Frederic was also an incredible host. He was very nice, friendly, and helpful, and always made sure we had everything we needed. He also went above and beyond to drive to meet us when we got lost and also provided us with a full sheet of recommendations for our next stay in Moorea. A huge plus was Frederic’s very friendly and cute dog that we got to spend time with. Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you, Fred! We hope to be back soon.

Frederick is so welcoming, kind and patient. The first night we couldn’t find his house, however with a call to him he was quick to our rescue. From then on there were no more bumps in the road. After our days of sightseeing, we enjoyed watching the sunset from his beautiful bungalow & cooling off in the sparkling pool. I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay! The bungalow was attractive and comfortable, and we had fun using the pool and interacting with the pets. Elisabeth was sweet and accommodating, providing great suggestions for activities and dining. (When we had trouble finding the place at night, she even came down the hill and guided us.) The view is gorgeous and the property has lots of beautiful flowers and other lush landscaping. It is definitely requires a car to access and the neighborhood feels removed...which can either be good or bad, depending on what you are seeking. We certainly recommend these accommodations to other traveling families!

We had to cancel and move our reservation 4 times over 2 years because of covid. Frederic hung in there with us and each time, helped us reschedule and we finally made the trip. He is very helpful and even helped us when our rental car had issues - he called Eurocar directly for us and spoke to them about the issue. They came out with a new car the next day. The property has a fantastic view of Moorea, unobstructed. The area is in a great location. The property does not have air conditioning or a TV which is not a big deal to us, we needed neither. Frederic made all the difference in our stay. He is a fantastic host.

Fin de séjour en Polynésie
Apres un circuit dans les iles , nous avons terminé notre voyage par quelques jour sur Tahiti nui et iti ou il y à beaucoup de choses à voir et Fréderic nous à donné de très bonnes informations sur des choses qui ne sont pas dans les guides le logement est parfait pour 4 personnes il ne manque rien et la vue est merveilleuse.

FREDERIC est très gentil, plein de bons conseils concernant Tahiti mais aussi Moorea où nous sommes allés ensuite.
La location est conforme à l’annonce: propre, fonctionnelle, le linge est fourni, il y a ce qu’il faut de vaisselle pour 4… et la vue est exceptionnelle !!!

He was so willing to give recommendations of restaurants and sights. Even after our stay concluded he was still extremely helpful with advice for our travels to a separate island in French Polynesia. We would definitely stay here again.

Séjour inoubliable
Pourquoi choisir l’hébergement chez Elisabeth et Frédéric ? Simplement parce que comme les avis précédents le précisent il y a cette vue sur Moorea, mais aussi car l’on se sent chez des amis qui laissent des souvenirs à jamais, avec l’espoir de se revoir.

Puna'auia the place to be
Booking online and communication with the owner was very easy. Directions to the property were excellent. There are two very friendly dogs and a cat.
Puna'auia is a great place to stay only a few kilometers from the city and airport. Nearby there are great restaurants, a big supermarket and there is a 24 hour petrol station just at the bottom of the hill for everything you may need.
Frederic is an excellent host and speaks English very well. He has great suggestions about where to go and what to see.
This property has lovely views over to Moorea and we loved the views, the sunsets and the pool.

Perfect location
Merci pour tout Frederic , nous avons passè 2 semaines exceptionnelles dans votre Farè . Confortable , bien agencè au calme , entourè d'un magnifique jardin et quelle vue !!! Deux semaines à jamais gravèes dans nos memoires. Caresses a Enzo et Chiara.

Une vue à couper le souffle !
Trois excellents séjours dans ce petit jardin tropical. Notre hôte, Fred, se met en quatre pour nous être agréable. Cet amoureux de la nature et de la rando prodigue de nombreux conseils pour les escapades à Tahiti mais aussi dans les îles. La location est confortable et bien équipée. Elle bénéficie aussi de la fraîcheur des montagnes toutes proches, ce qui est loin d'être négligeable. Merci Fred pour ta gentillesse et ton hospitalité. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

A great location and close to the nice snorkelling beaches of Puna'auia. Always a bit nervous about staying at a hosted property, but this worked really well. Fred & Elizabeth were lovely and the bungalow is really it's own space. Highly recommended!

Nice Short stay
Stayed here for 2 nights as a Family of 4. Frederic was easy to get a hold of to get directions to his place. He is also like your own concierge offering suggestions of what to do and where to go. Its exactly like it looks like in the pictures. It was great and affordable for 2 nights. The beds and pillows weren't the best for longer stays. The location offers great views up a winding hill. You really need a car here to access lots of restaurants and grocery stores within about 2km. I would stay here again.

Bungalow idéalement situé
Proche des plages, de Papeete et des commerces tout est à proximité et cela est très appréciable. Le bungalow est agréable et fonctionnel mais ce qui nous a le plus plu c’est la vue sur la mer et Moorea c’est à tomber! Nous avons fait de belles photos de coucher de soleil. .. Au début de notre séjour nous avons été gênés par le bruit le matin mais au bout de 2 jours nous n’y faisions plus attention. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Vue superbe, très grande attention des propriétaires, grand confort.
L'absence de climatisation n'est absolument pas gênante, la situation en hauteur permet une bonne ventilation naturelle.
La piscine est appréciable et l'équipement de la cuisine complet.

Very nice bungalow
The property matched our expectations based on the description and photos on the website. It worked well for two couples for a few days. The location had a great view and was close to the PPT airport, the town of Punaauia, shopping and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and greeted us when we arrived.

Lovely bungalow & pool overlooking Moorea
We enjoyed this comfortable location high in the hills above Punavai Plains & excursions along the west coast. There's surprisingly decent snorkeling off PK 18 & Manava Beach (public parks). Hosts take care to give you absolute privacy - very considerate. 3 pets in the household so best if you are an animal-lover! Also, if you are renting a car, consider an automatic as the steep access road is challenging with a standard transmission. Otherwise, highly recommend this lovely place. Post-cruise bungalow with a fantastic view
Four occupants stayed four days following a cruise. A bit tight but the rental fit our needs and my wallet. Located away from the city (say a 15 min drive) yet close to the beach, shopping, French bakery (sooooo good). Car needed to access to the home. Owners on property (Frederic and Elisabeth) were tremendously helpful acquainting us to the area, suggesting activities, restaurants and excursions. The pics speak for the view, the island looming in the distance as seen from the pool deck. The pool provides relief from the heat and humidity. These are not five-star hotel digs, but this comfortable place was all we needed to enjoy a few more days on this lovely island.
A few hints-
Rental car- EcoCar, just off airport, easy to work with- delivered car to cruise area, dropped me at airport.
Electrical plugs- European. Bring adapters.
Cell service expensive! Turn off cell data the entire time you are here. Free WiFi on property.
