Very well located just a short walk away from the main strip, but yet close enough to enjoy the activities at the strip or downtown. Very cooperative and obliging staff running this family business. Spend the evening on the dock enjoying your beverage while watching the boater's come in for a downtown visit.

Owner was there all the time. Very nice person and very helpful. Made sure we were all set with everything we needed. It was cozy and had a full kitchen which included full size appliances. The price was comparable for the the cabins. They allow pets and only charge a single price not a daily price. There is an area here you can sit and watch the river which was nice to relax at.

It did not bother us but the rooms are dated. If your looking for a high end room this is not the place for you.

The place was not very clean and not maintained well at all. At least the room we had. The towels were stained and gross. There were cobwebs 2 Microwaves stacked in the corner of the kitchen. Extension cords laying all over the floor in the bedroom. We went to use a coffee cup and it was dirty. Just not a place I would recommend or ever stay again. The room reminded me of a cottage that was not taken care of at all.

We decided on a last minutes girls trip to see the castles. We just needed a reasonable place to sleep as we would be busy all day. This place was perfect! Our room was spacious! (We stayed in Unit #3) Very clean! A bigger than normal size hotel room refrigerator (it had a separate freezer). The location was perfect as we could easily walk to everything! The view at the docks was great!

We were given k-cups, but only a regular coffee pot, so that was unusable. The door to our room felt unsecure. It had a doorknob lock & chain lock, but no deadbolt & half of the door was window.

I didn’t like anything. In fact we never got to stay there because they overbooked the rooms and didn’t have any room for us when we got there. There attitude was horrible. I would NEVER STAY THERE IF IT WAS THE LAST PLACE ON EARTH. I’d sleep in my car before I would give them a dollar for any room. The desk clerk, if you want to call her that could not find our reservation so another person who claimed didn’t work there jumped in to help and found the reservation but then handed us keys to a room that was already occupied. I almost walked into a room that both people and a big dog was in. Thank goodness that I was able to see into the room before putting the key in the door. They also made a copy of of my wife’s credit card and drivers license which shouldn’t be necessary anymore if the owner updated his system. Then had to argue to get the copies back!! The next day we received a call from who we think was the owner and he blamed his staff for the mistakes. It wasn’t the staff, it was him who messed up!! It was an incompetent mess from the start. Your company should reconsider advertising his facility on your web site.

The location is fabulous, overlooking the bay and river. Walking distance to all establishments in Alex Bay.

My reservation was for a space comfortable enough for 5 to stay together. I reserved the “Presidential Suite”, a 60ft houseboat. Upon arriving, learned that the houseboat was not there. I was very upset and disappointed. Owner should have told me it was not going to be available (docked in Cleveland). Tried putting us in a much smaller houseboat; no way. Owner rectified the situation by giving us 3 rooms for the same price as the houseboat. We agreed to stay; the location is beautiful. Owner offered us a reduced price if we come back and stay on the houseboat I originally reserved. Fingers crossed.

Everyone was nice just wish they would've been upfront about the boat

Was supposed to stay on a boat but ended up in a room. Really wanted to experience the house boat. Was told it needed to be cleaned and I'd be notified when it was but never got the notification.

We loved the location. Owners were very nice. The motel was booked so they put us in a houseboat on the marina. Not what we expected but we were pleasantly surprised!

Nothing. We enjoyed our stay.

It was right on the water and within walking distance to the stores.
