Disappointing Accommodation - Do not use

The view and location

The property was not worth the money The agency did not even check the place before we moved in There was hair on the beds The bathroom was flooding Blinds did not close, people walking in the outside corridor could see inside There was a lot more issues we encountered with no help from the agency Would not recommend... Especially that we Paid almost R10k for 2 nights... And they gave R800 as compensation... Rip off

We enjoyed the location of the apartment and the ocean views. Easy access to the beach was a bonus.

The actual apartment was absolutely lovely, beautiful ocean views and spacious place to move around.

The TV was not working. When we tried to connect our DSTV decoder as requested to bring our own, it didnt work. When contacting housekeeping spoke to Monita who was not helpful at all, she told us we need to use Open View as DSTV does not work there. However even that Open View was not working. As a result we spent the entire weekend with no TV, which was a bit challenging seeing as we had kids with us. Also load shedding was a mood killer, I know it's out of your control but for visitors please take note of the load shedding schedules and stages when booking as the flight of stairs were too much all the way to the fourth floor daily. The aircon in the lounge is not working, the heatwave was unbearable and miserable.

8/10 everything was perfect except that the airconditioners were not working and it was blazzing hot

The property was basically near everything we were looking forward to,i would go there again given a chance,The view of the beach and the city was everything i loved it.it was beyond our expectations

Overall our stay was enjoyable and safe. We felt welcomed safe, and our privacy respected.

The property is beautiful, very safe and quite spacious. It had all the inventory we needed. the beds were comfortable and the linen was clean and crispy. The security guard on duty on Friday helped to orient us and showed us how the alarm and the gate lift worked. Then on Saturday, another security guard took his time to show us how the braai grill worked when we were struggling to get it going. We appreciated their courteous manner .

1. Both fridges’ bottom storages are not cold, even when we have adjusted the fridge’s thermometer. It was only their top freezers that were cold. This resulted in some of our food being off as we had left it overnight in the fridge on Friday. 2. The kitchen sink tap rubber seems to be loose and the water sips on to the cabinet and into the floor, which in turn cause the floor to be constantly slippery and dangerous. Also, the shower in the master/main bedroom sprinkles awkwardly as it seems like some of the holes are blocked, so showering was not easy. 3. Lastly, there were quite a number of cockroaches roaming around during the day and at night.

If the disappointing issues mentioned were to be rectified it would be perfect.

The location & size of the unit is great. Very spacious and great entertainment area.

1. The flat was not that clean on arrival. The unit has MANY maintenance issues. 1. Warped cupboards 2. Second bedroom with the double bed has major damp issues and is in a terrible condition. I was quite embarrassed to have family sleep in this room. It seems previous reviews from 2021 regarding this damp issue have not been sorted out. The blinds are broken. 3. The shower door in main bedroom is also broken (completely off the rails). Both showers need a deep clean. Also mould and brown dirt. Also brought up in previous reviews. 4. Both Fridges were not cleaned before we checked in. 5. The furniture in the bedrooms is in a bad state (ring stains & water marks) 6. There is no key for the door at the kitchen. The sliding door at on the balcony does not lock (also previously reported). 7. The sheets dont fit the bed in the main bedroom. Linen & pillows seem "old" and pillows are in bad shape. 8. Toilet Roll holder in the main bedroom bathroom is broken. The bathroom in the main bedroom needs a brighter ligh. It's too dark. 9. There was no inventory list upon arrival to complete. Please action the above points because everyone that has stayed in this unit over the past 2 years has complained about the same thing with zero action taken.

I liked the location of the hotel, beds, the house was spacious. I had a great time.

The toilet had a leak. The remote of the keys was not properly working. The check out time was too early and i struggled to get a packing that fits my car, i had to go back and forth

It was okay, the lady that came to us on Saturday morning ruined our stay

The place looked great and it's was very spacious and also loved that it was close to the beach and other amenities.

The host could have done better, we complied to all the rules but were blamed for the noise made by our neighbors and it really made our trip sour, we slept early on Friday around 11pm and during the night could hear the neighbors fighting with furniture and what not bymut then the next morning we had already got 3 strikes from the host and I don't know why and how, we could have been treated better coz we paid for that place it wasn't for free

Ample with great views but not what its made out to be.

The view from and size of the entertainment area is magnificent The living areas furniture was modern and ample. A real entertainers living area. Has a nice balcony if you choose to sit outside. But just as nice to sit inside. The fact that it has four bedrooms is a bonus as it allows an even spread of people across the rooms. No bunk beds that adults need to sleep in.

There was no cleaning material whatsoever. Nothing to clean dishes, no cloths to dry, no dustbin bags to throw away the garbage. Due to the last minute booking i had to leave items unwashed and not thrown away. Food in the refrigerator as there was nowhere to put in. The one bedroom is full of damp on the one wall making it look very unsightly. The shower door in the main bathroom comes off its rails and i could not put in back on. The sliding door to the patio opens with force and then you cannot close it. You cannot lock it either. The remote control to access the lift in the basement works erratically. The entertainment system was disconnected and removed leaving the TV set unusable. It was just acceptable enough to to move locations which is a pity as it has great potential.

The morning of the 30 May no hot water was coming out on the tap from kitchen to all bath rooms. Dstv was not available. The another thing you should provide the normal TV aerial.

Only the sea view but it comes with a price... The property not maintained and dirty. Look for another property with a good sea view!

Unit was not clean. Showers looks horrible! Furniture full of stains, walls dirty and full of stains, plugs dirty, bed linen got stains on, one room's wall black - damp, some sliding doors cant open, some sliding doors cant lock - so you are sleeping in a unit that can not lock without an alarm in an area where there is alot of crime! I would not recommend this unit at all. Sea view and/or location is not everything... there is many other upmarket properties with the same view. My second stay at 27 Boulevart in 3 years and the place is not maintained/upgraded or cleaned properly. But you have to pay a hefty price!

The property is beautiful, the view is stunning

unfortunately there were a few problems, upon arrival we were told to collect the keys from the Hotel - it was not there - had to phone around to find out the property was still being cleaned and had to wait till 15:30 to get access. Both aircons were not working - upon reporting this only the 1 in the living room was fixed not the main bedroom 1 - it was extremely hot. The lift only worked for 2 of the 7 days - this was terrible - since we had 2 people with knee and back problems
