Location good, house cozy, everything we needed was supplied

Wish we could have stayed longer

Great location near the beach and just in front of the high street. The kitchen was fully fitted out with all the amenities we needed for using the oven, having dinner and various drinks, including tea, coffee and sugar. The living room had comfortable sofas for relaxing in the evenings.

The second bedroom with two bunk beds is very small and has little space for bags or to put things on a bedside table.

Beautifully clean and cosy. Needed the heating on as there was an artic wind outside!!! Excellent system and hot water.

Ability to be able to own use Sky card or Sky TV.

Loved the position in the village and sea on the doorstep. Loved all the little attention to detail and welcoming snacks.

Although I didn’t actually stay at the property. one of the guests commented on the steep staircase?

Positives - great location between the high street and the beach; spotlessly clean.

Negatives - owner messaged me before the stay saying she would only be preparing one of the rooms, despite me booking the entire cottage. I explained that I was with my aunt and that I would be sleeping in a separate room. The owner then said that the other room would also be prepared, but indicated that one of the bunks would be for the next guest after me. it’s a small thing but doesn’t create a good impression. Neither did the response to my request to check in a couple of hours early (at 2 rather than 4) - owner sent a pre-drafted email requesting additional money to be sent to the owner’s bank account if I wanted to check in early. Again, a small thing but not a great impression.

Location is excellent beiing close to the beach and town. Cottage very comfortable, we would sty in this cottege again.

I would say nothing. I can imagine in the summer the beer garden behind could be noisy. Not that anything can be done.

We had a delightful stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . The property was clean and comfortable and in a fabulous position for exploring Aldeburgh .

Great location. Sweet cottage. Love the back yard. All that is needed for a stay.

Promise of chocoate cookies on arrival i thought sounded such a lovely touch. We were told this in several messages but unfortunately none were left so after hours stuck in traffic I was a little disappointed. Probably best left as a surprise. The house backs on to the pub garden. This isnt clear in description .

Check in check out hours . Check in late 4 pm to then have to check out at 10.00 unless you pay additional fee . £60! to check in at 2pm and check out at 12.00 .

Excellent location, with comfortable bed upstairs , perfect location for the shops . parking easy and so close to the beach

The owners have really made the best of an authentic c18th fisherman's cottage.

Lovely cosy cottage,immaculately clean with everything you need. Good location,beach and restaurants close by.

Good location Interior of cottage quirky.

Approach to cottage not at all inviting. Dead plant by the front door and weeds growing. Gate and walk could do with a wipe and front with a sweep. Small courtyard could be lovely. I had to clean the patio furniture before we could use it. There were dog ends from roll ups scattered around. Again some fresh paint or even a sweep would make it look better. All rugs look as though they could do with a clean. Bedroom blind and curtains have a sort of rusty effect as though they have been wet at some point
