Room was a little basic but was very clean & breakfast was excellent.

The beds could have been a little more comfortable.

A lovely environment with the patio by the pool, restaurant next door and fabulous local cliff walkways. Small hotel with friendly manager. Nice breakfast. A little fridge in the room.

A hotel should have facilities for tea or coffee during the day; not just bed and breakfast. A kettle and cups or access to the dining area is needed, especially when staying for a few nights. Even a vending machine! The single beds with scratchy sheets and duvet 😑, no double room offered even though requested and an almost empty hotel.

I loved the pictures on Booking.com but for me they were totally misleading.

We had made a booking from the 25th April until the 5th of May. While checking the confirmation we noticed that it had been changed to the 30th of April until 10th of May. It turned out the hotel had made a mustake in their admministration and had a double booking for the 29th. They had single handedly changed it without consulting us. We would not be in Spain after the 5th and thought it was pretty rude to just switch the dates. When i asked them to cancel the days we would not be in Spain she told me they were providing us with a service(!). I don’t know what kind of a service that is. After talking on the phone and urging them to compensate the dates we were not in Spain they complied without saying sorry for the hassle they created. The hotel is situated next to a busy street, there was a kind of faint urine smell when we walked into the corridors and bedroom. The bedroom is fairly small, old bathroom in which the showerdoor was crooked and hard to slide. The small fridge was not connected and when we connected it it made too much noise. The bedroom is very dated and the views are rather disappointing, looking out onto a small swimmingpool and the busy road & neighbours. The breakfast was so disappointing, some (dry) bread, a few slices of cutlery and some cheese and jam, small cups of yogurt and stuff.. When we asked if it was possible to have an egg in any kind of form the reply we got was ‘look I don’t have enough space to bake or boil an egg’.. We took coffee instead.. The pool was filthy.. We could hear the other two guests complain but seemed complacent to it all. The staff kept calling my son another name, pretty unpersonal and when we told her we wanted to leave after one night Svenja was genuinely upset. We felt sorry for her but did not have a good feeling about this place. She offered me to talk to the manager and try to give us a refund for the remaining 4 nights which I appreciated a lot.

clean, friendly and good value, great restaurant next door

Family run hotel with excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to help and make you feel welcome. We will definitely be visiting again. Rooms are extremely clean, comfortable beds and lovely continental breakfast. Hotel in Montemar and about a 5 minute drive to Moraría. They have a restaurant next to the hotel which serves very tasty Italian food. So friendly ****** highly recommend

There was nothing that we didn’t like - it really was that good.
