Highly recommend this place to relax, especially for families as plenty to enjoy.

Beautiful quiet bushland setting close to beaches. Great games room and tennis court.

An extra towel for a 3 night stay would have been good.

Beautiful location, surrounded by nature and birds chirping, wallabies peeking from afar and endless greenery and unspoilt ocean..highlights recommend me host was extremely accommodating and kind to help with a special request making a wonderful stay

Beautiful location, walking distance to the beach.

The location was stunning and we were fortunate enough to have a view of the rolling green hills. The beach was so close and the cottage was clean and cosy. It had everything we needed.

The location and lovely quiet environment. it had almost everything I could have wanted.

A lack of space in the kitchen in the single/couple accomodation. if it were to get any warmer during the day a ceiling fan would be great.

Our stay was both fun & relaxing. Billy’s beach is a 2 minute walk.

We enjoyed everything and highly recommend Mystery Bay Cottages.

Best place in the area

Everything! I stayed in what the owners called the Chalet (I think)....certainly wasn't expecting such a huge space for just one person, but from what I could tell, the other cabins looked very well appointed, as well. Plush carpet, fantastic kitchen, bathroom, beds...just everything! Oh, and the beautiful countryside view and the only sounds are the birds and the surf. Many similar places I have stayed in have shared leisure facilities, but I just want to say the games room really surprised me with its great array of books, DVDs, magazines, air hockey and table tennis tables...again, a fantastic place to stay. Honestly, if it was any better, I would have had a butler! I will recommend this place to everyone I know Keep up the great work, Mel and Tim! 😊

A very, very minor criticism....a bit of an odour from the cleaning product used on the carpet (I think) Very minor issue...overall, 99% fantastic!

A beautiful retreat into nature and the bush.

The cabin was beautiful, with a great location, interior, and lovely wood fire [great heating, fun, and romantic]. We adored how the birds came up to the veranda whilst we were on it reading - a truly special moment we'll always remember.

The bathroom didn't have any curtains, just some lightly frosted glass, which means you can see through it at all times of day from outside (where people drive by). The kitchen was missing essentials for cooking (oil, basic spices [salt and pepper provided]) but had enough pots and pans.

We were disappointed the Cabin was small, bathroom was tiny. We didn’t need it but the second bedroom is basically a cupboard with bunk beds.

A wonderful stay surround by nature

Our family of four stayed at Mystery Bay cottages for four nights over Easter and we absolutely loved it. The cottage was cozy and spotless, and the kitchenette was well stocked. The setting of the cottage was to die for. We'd sit on the deck every morning for breakfast and take in the breathtaking views. A bottle of birdseed was kept in the cottage and feeding the lorikeets was one of the highlights of our stay. I should particularly mention how helpful Mel and Tim were on Easter Sunday when our car wouldn't start. Tim came over with jumper cables and we were back on the road in no time. Really appreciated the hospitality throughout. We had a very relaxing and lovely stay. A small very private beach is just five minutes walk from the cottages and we got to see wallabies on the way. Would definitely recommend Mystery Bay cottages any time, particularly for families with young kids like us.

No negatives really - An additional fan in the second bedroom would have been ideal
