Host Christine and Gilles were brilliant.🌺 Thank you both for your generosity and sharing you beautiful home with us. Christine was extremely helpful organizing our transfer from airport, rental transport, and the must do activities while in Raiatea. We loved our stay. Hugely appreciated. Beautiful setting and view, very nice rooms, great breakfast and great hosts!
The drive to the villa is bit tricky(steep hill), but manageable.

Just booked as a day room between two sailboat cruises. The pool was lovely. Very welcoming and friendly. But no AC so I would have had trouble with an overnight stay. And not a lot of privacy maybe. But the price was good and my day room was right next to the pool. Perfect for my needs.

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy about our stay! Great size of the room, pool right infront of our room and a great view of the ocean. Breakfast was great! And Christine helped of with everything!!!! We were a little last minute and couldn’t rent either a scooter or car on the Island because of a local holiday, but Christine helped us and got us on a great boattrip to Tahaa. Thank you for a great stay 😊
Everything was great! But because of the steep hill the walk to town to buy some food or eat out is not that simple. So either buy before hand or Christine can help you order some food from a local restaurant if you let her know before noon 😊

Christine and Gilles are incredibly good hosts. They are constantly concerned about the well-being of their guests. You just feel comfortable.

perfect place to sit back and enjoy the view / lounge in the pool right next to your room overlooking the ocean. only a few rooms with wonderful local atmosphere.

- host Christine which speaks good English and is very helpful.

- Continental breakfast including a different pastry/ cake and cheese, confitures etc.
- Partly steep and in the evening dark road leading to U’Upa villa and sometimes barking dogs. We would go there only by car.
- 3 foodoutlets in the vincinity closed for a few weeks or permanent. food can be delivered. some roulottes available, but food is very boring.
- the usual roosters which wake you up early.
- if you need a third bed you need a second room and that led in our case to approx Eur 160/per night. total.
- the aiport shuttle cost is not included and cost you an additional CPF 2000
- shared toilet and bathroom, there was no problem at all. we knew that before, but we prefer own.

amazing everything is much better than the pictures, the owners are super nice and make you feel welcomed and part of the place. I was by myself and they make sure I got a way to eat out with other guests. thanks for everything plus the place has the French Polynesia atmosphere super Jolie

The hosts were amazing and so friendly - I loved that we could chat with them and the other guests if we wanted to, and it felt like a super personable welcome to Raiatea. The room was nice, although I hadn't realized when booking that it was accessed via a ladder and had a shared bathroom that was downstairs. In either case though, this was the perfect place for us to stay for 1 night before taking off on a sailboat for a week, and I would recommend Villa U'upa to a friend coming to Raiatea.

Superb view over the east side of the atoll, of Tahaa, the pass and motus. The hosts were very very kind and helpful.

The hosts were very nice and we enjoyed the beautiful property and views. Christine had a menu available for delivery by a local chef and the dinner was excellent.
