Very good location

Very nice location and good for relaxing and spending time with the family and friends. Our kids enjoyed the fishing, little pony ride and forest walk. The owner is an amazing person and helpful with all the guests needs, the rooms are clean and the beds is comfortable. We enjoyed our holiday, first day we ordered the food from the property and next day we decide to use the barbecue. We recommend the property and will be a pleasure for us to return.

I’d stay there again.

We found it almost deserted, with no hot food on site and a crew working on refinishing the dining room floor in preparation for the Easter opening. Yet the young caretaker stepped up like a champion, cooked us dinner from his own provisions. We arrived by bicycle after a day of riding and to us this was above-and-beyond hospitality. The place has a beautiful forest backdrop.

Very good

The surroundings are spectacular. If you want real peace and quiet this is the place to go. You can either self-cater or tell the host in advance to prepare something. The host was very welcoming and friendly.

Pleasant

Peaceful, nice surroundings (forest, pond for fishing); poneys, dogs and bunnies (but careful with children, 2 dogs are young and not yet trained); the owner is nice and welcoming. We could cook and there was enough space for everyone although all 10 or 11 rooms were booked.

Unfortunately the poneys could not be ridden - make sure to call and ask before, as this needs to be organized. Breakfast and meals are only prepared for large groups (check before you go). There were no night lamps in our 2 rooms (we didn't ask for them either...). We spent only one night instead of three because of a group of young people who partied until 3 am, it was impossible to sleep. So it's better to make sure - whether you go there to party, or to relax and listen to the silence - that you book all rooms in order not to disturb or be disturbed, or else be ready to adapt... The host tried to sort it out but it was a bit complicated.

A different eperience, in a quiet, wooded location

The welcome was charming and the location is very peaceful, very green, and delightful. We cooked our own evening meal, which was what we had expected, and all the kitchen facilities were made available to us.

The bedrooms are basic, in terms of comfort and furnishing, appropriate to a ski lodge - which is what we assume this property is in winter. They are less comfortable than we had expected from the online description, but clean and serviceable.
