1. Human and genuine welcome by the team who are always available and prepared to help - Kishore, Jenish and Nayak (chef).
2. Proximity to 'Little Mount' metro station which is the easiest mode of transport to/from the Chennai airport and Chennai city centre, Egmore both of which have numerous ground transport facilities to the other parts of India.
3. Meals are available on request and the payment is to made upon consumption. Available hours are clearly stated.
4. Valuable items can be stored in the lockers available free of charge.
5. It is a safe, homely place to stay
The below can be useful.
1. Clear signage outside (especially to those who come in the dark)
2. White/colour wash to make it look more attractive.
3. A rack with leaflets about places of attraction and transportation,
4. Possible collaboration with a suitable travel services provider to arrange day-trips.
5. Informal surveys (through discussion) to ascertain the requirements of the travelers/hostelers.

A very friendly stay with affordable price.. the beautiful atmosphere will let you make new friends from different states and countries too.. it's rare to find a hostel like this in Chennai
Unfortunately no parking for 4 wheelers, it's difficult to enter into the hostel's street with Car or any other 4 wheelers. Still you can find 2 wheeler parking available

The freedom to discuss with newly acquired friends.
The freedom to eat a variety of nutritious food items and not to mention the filter coffee. Air-conditioning when really needed, i.e. night time.in getting a sound sleep.
Everything, including the availability of cold and hot water to get a refreshing bath. Reasonable rates for food. The courteous attitude of the manager, chef, and cleaning staff. Pre-designed wake-up calls through ajaans. The rules of silence periods and practice of keeping footwaer are a must and help keep hygiene and neatness in rooms. The 2 dogs and a few are a great companionship training gift.
My special regards to Kishorji, Padmabhushan Nayak, and the other Nayak, not to forget about the night in charge. The Little Mount metro is 4 min minutes.

The host is kind and accommodating. Although I did not partake, there is an optional breakfast and dinner meal you can purchase for a very reasonable cost. For what you pay for, it has a good cost performance value.
Although near a retail street, the hostel is located inside through a narrow alley that cars cannot pass through but tuk-tuks can. Domestic travelers tend to not follow the hostel rules and often talk long and loudly on their cellphones within the dorm room, even though it's not allowed.

Its Clean
I got a different room than booked.
Chennai is very hot and humid place, they turn off the ac after 7 am in the morning. Thats really hard.
No towels or toiletries provided.

The management is very patient. I had been traveling already for 9 months and when I got to Chennai I was very tired and having health problems. I am also older. The management never complained that I was resting there a lot.
The chef makes great food that is clean and safe for westerners to eat.
There is ac in the room at night.
The rooftop is really nice.
The other guests are nice.
No one ever bothered my things and when I accidentally left something valuable it was always there when I got back.
Some other guests try to turn the ac off at night.

Great place to stay!!!
The accommodation was adequate and the manager and staff were always very friendly and helpful.. It is close to the "Little Mount" metro. A small coffee/tea shop near there served the best Special tea. It was a 15 minute walk to the Saidapet Market, to get fresh fruit and vegetables. The hostel supplied breakfast/lunch/dinner at a very low rate and it was good if you wanted a lazy day hanging out. The other guests there were all very friendly and so the hostel had a good vibe. I thoroughly recommend as a place to stay in Chennai for part of your adventures.

I had no real issues with my accommodation and I stayed there for 9 days, as I was visiting friends.
