Nous retournerons surement à Fès et sans aucun doute à nouveau dans le Riad de M Laraichi

Notre séjour a été super, surtout grâce à la gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux de M Laraichi et sa famille, ses enfants et sa femme. Ils se sont occupés de nous avec beaucoup d’amabilité et ils nous sont fait sentir comme à la maison. Une mention spéciale pour la cuisine et les plats délicieux que nous avons pu déguster. M Laraichi aime son Pays et il vous transmet cet amour dans chaque moment que vous passé dans son Riad et rend votre découverte de Fès un moment privilégié.

Best hospitality I've ever seen

This is the place that should write the manual of hospitality for any accommodation. The owner of the place has a true passion to see the guests enjoying their time. There was a number of things that exceeded the tasks. To start, I arrived in the city 3 days in advance of my stay because of an event that I had and asked to leave one luggage there until my day of stay. Apart from accepting, while I was there to leave the luggage, they offered tea, cookies and much more. Also, when I, on my own fault, had a misunderstanding with the taxi to the airport, the owner pro actively asked me about the time of my flight, tried to find another taxi and when we couldn't find a new taxi on-time the owner itself took me to the airport. After my wonderful stay, in an extremely beautiful, big and comfortable bedroom and extremely beautiful and well maintained Riad, I mentioned that would check out really early because of my train. Without asking for it, again, there was an amazing breakfast for me around 2 hours before the proper time. I can only thanks and recommend this place to every person that I meet.

The owners made me feel really welcome. It was a beautiful clean riad with a great location. Enjoyed the breakfast too. Will deffo come back here if im back in fez.

A truly Moroccan experience - warm & generous hospitality!

Beautiful, traditionally decorated, intricate interior, lovely staff, wonderfully flexible and delicious room service till very late at night and even including custom orders for picky little eaters off the menu :) Very good location close to the Blue Gate and market, too.

Incredible riad

Everything was perfect: my room was upgraded for free by the owner, the most beautiful riad I ever stayed, the nice air-conditioning system, even vegetarian breakfast upon request for free! Definitely recommend!

Perfect location

The hotel is near the Blue Gate, which is exactly where you want to be if you want to be in the Medina and venture out of it if you wish. The taxi was able to get us 10 meters away from the door, a highly desirable thing, giving that we were with a heavy suitcase and a backpack. The place is clean, well maintained and with a nicely decorated interior. I think there are 3 floors, maybe 4. It has a beautiful dinning area where we had a well rounded Moroccan breakfast, enough to last you till dinner. The hotel is family owned and I could right all day good things about them, starting from the gracious father, and ending with the young daughter and her little brother who spoke perfect English and were extremely helpful to us, all the way from taxi rides, to laundry, directions, even using their own credit card because ours didn’t go through purchasing bus tickets. Beautiful family indeed. If we are ever back in Fes, we”ll definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place to stay, with friendly and helpful staff.

Beautiful interior, Large rooms. Breakfast a bit slow, but good.

On checking out, I could not pay my 'extras' bill with a credit card because the receptionist had not yet arrived and the breakfast staff did not have access to the card machine. I was a bit short of cash so this was unwelcome.

Top-notch hospitality in the heart of Fes

We staid just for one night and had to leave in the middle of the night to catch our flight but could not have enjoyed our stay more. Wonderful hosts which could not be more kind and did everything to make our stay perfect. We also enjoyed one of the best meals we had in Morocco in their restaurant. Would come back for sure next time in Fes. Location is perfect, easy access by car and just a short walk into the heart of the medina.

Best riad ever

We were met as dear guests or family and got a welcome with tea. The place is amazing - all glitters like a riad from the Arabian Nights. Really very upscale and the best riad we stayed in during out travels to Morocco. The manager/owner was very helpful with advice about out travel. Also he found a tour guide for us, so that we could experience the medina without getting lost. We didn't have much time, so we wanted to see all the important places. And we did.

Such an amazing stay

The room was MASSIVE. I mean there was space for a small gathering in there, complete with two sofas and a table. The bathroom was equally big, with two separate toilets and a single decent shower. The bed was HUGE and comfortable. The wifi worked well and I didn't pay for it (so guess that's included?) Breakfast was nice as well, served fresh. Really nice overall and would stay again due to its central location in the old city and generous amount of space. Staff were really nice, too.

It was a delight staying here. I would perhaps warn light sleepers against staying here if they like to retire early. The room is immediately outside the dining area (as is the case for most riads) so the chatter and live music can be loud and goes until 11 or midnight. This didn't bother us, but like I say something to consider if a quiet space is important to you.

Perfect in many ways.

My wife and I had a wonderful three days break in Fez and one of the reasons is this wonderful Riad managed by a wonderful family. I highly recommend it, and besides how wonderful the Riad is, the location is simply perfect. It is a walking distance to all must see places in Fez. The owners genuinely make you feel like a friend, and they are very warm and personable. The food is also amazing and all employees are amazing. We are definitely going back inshallah.

A jewel of a place.

The room was magnificent, the decor exceptional & imagine the entrance when completed will be amazing. We were nice & warm during our stay. The staff were very helpful as was the taxi driver who ferried us to & from our trains.

It was out of season so the pace of service was slow. We had to get cash to pay for our stay, which was a problem as not all ATMs were working

All the hotel staff were very hospitable, kind and helpful. The owner also helped us in finding a very good local guide ( recommended) for a tour in the city. The rooms are also spacious with a beautiful Moroccan architecture. We were really impressed. At their restaurant, We had the best Moroccan food in the country. We would definitely recommend this Riad.

Disappointing

Good location

They advertise that they take card but it is not accurate. When I tried to pay by card I was informed the property had "problems" with the card machine. I had been using my card without any problems. Clearly they didnt connect the machine to the network so it would seem as if it didnt work. They forced me to pay cash because they didnt want to take card. Furthermore they moved my suitcases from the initial room I was in without my consent. Claiming it was an "upgrade". They try to fool tourists.

Exceptional

Very clean and the location is perfect! The welcoming was amazing with these very very friendly people! They prepared original tea and very delicious Moroccan sweets by our arrival and we really appreciated to be welcomed this way. We got amazing discussion with them meanwhile they prepared our room with some amazing flours. The breakfast was very delicious! We have tried other 5 🌟 hotel before in fes, but this one exceeded our expectations! We recommend this place to everyone wishing to try original and very nice Moroccan stuff! And especially wishing to have a stay with very friendly people!
