Monica is the best host you can imagine, she makes your stay special, she cares for every detail to ensure you have a wonderful stay in El Cotillo and in Fuerteventura in general. Only 4 rooms, extremely clean. Beautiful terrace to enjoy morning coffee. A relaxed place in a relaxed village, El Cotillo, which also has a lot of bars and restaurants to enjoy. Magical sunsets in this little heaven, totally recommended instead of less charming places like Corralejo. Thanks so much, Monica! we'll be back for sure :)

A perfect stay

- cosy and lovely interior - el hotelito got only 4 rooms. so we felt very comfortable and you have a lot of privacy - Great Location ( the village has a authentic atmosphere and a lot of little restaurants) - clean - provided towels and beach towels - nice whirlpool on the rooftop - fresh croissants every morning as courtesy from the owner, as well as tea and coffee. - rooms equipped with a small fridge, a small Safeand a hairdryer - there is a common room where you can hang your laundry or dry your bathing suits -there are no private parking spaces but it was easy to park your car on the streets in front of the hotel for free - Monica the host is very welcoming and friendly. she gave us a lot of advice about places to eat or things to do in the area and was always there if we needed something.

Great little hotel right in the centre of El Cotillo

The location was perfect, right in the centre of the village. Monica was very helpful with lots of tips about where to go and what to see on the island. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom spotlessly clean. The upstairs sun bathing area was great. There is also a drying room for wet towels etc.

The only drawback is that due to the layout the rooms are very close, and you can hear your neighbours, or perhaps we were just unlucky and had particularly noisy neighbours! The lack of a fan or ac could be an issue later in the year, we were there in April and it was already pretty warm at night.

beautiful, intimate, comfortable and amazing design inspired by the Riads of Marrakech

location was central. great for walking to the plaza and nearby beaches. beds were extremely comfortable and the host was so sweet and helpful. she gave me plenty of reccomendations for things to do in fuerteventura. i loved my stay.

I had a wonderful stay and I already booked another one for February- I am bringing a friend with me.

Beautiful decor, exceptional hospitality, the location was perfect (close to the bus station, to restaurants and to the beach). The staff were super helpful too, they showed me around in the property and recommended places to visit / eat.

A beautiful room in a great location with a very helpful and attentive owner

Excellent location, attention to detail, beautifully furnished, a welcoming reception with lights, tea lights ornaments Excellent communication a few days before to ensure check in was easy. Communication throughout to ensure we knew all of the facilities, including hot tub, roof top terrace and a drying area/storage for bikes.

This is not a big problem but: Although there were dark curtains this did not stop a little light coming in around the door and window. This was because the hall was lit when we were trying to sleep. This may not affect others as I am a very light sleeper. Maybe turn these automatic lights off earlier?

Cosy and tastefully designed

really nice and well designed. The owners were really friendly and gave us a lot of tips. They really take the time to explain stuff and to insure that the guests are comfortable. The roof terrace and is really a plus. Thanks!

Lovely relaxing place to stay.

Very well located. Monica was so helpful in introducing the town - the lowdown on cafes where I could get proper good coffee, good restaurants, walks, and fact that my visit coincided with a local arts festival. Espresso machine available and croissants delivered, so could breakfast peacefully on the roof terrace. Property is beautifully designed and appointed.

Needed to keep the windows open or it would have been too hot. The windows had no mosquito/bug screen. It was fine, but I wondered if in summer mozzies wouid come in. Floor mounted fan, but I find it disturbing to have that on at night. Bedroom window is directly opposite window of neighbouring room, looking onto small internal courtyard so with this and stone surfaces (which keep it cool) sound travels easily - there are only 4 rooms though so it's not a big issue.

Monica is a great host and her travel tips and restaurant recommendations were a great inspiration for our stay on Fuerteventura. She is a former tour guide and guided us to the little secrets of the island. We appreciated a lot her dedication and friendliness.

Nothing less than perfect!

My intended 3-days stay in El hotelito was nothing less than perfect! It even ended up in extending my reservation two times because it’s such a nice place to be. Monica is a super friendly and warm host, the hotel and the rooms are very beautiful and cosy and there is even a roof top terrace with a jacuzzi. On top of that there are only 4 rooms which gives the hotel not only a homy feeling, but it’s also nice and quite. Next to that, the location of the hotel is central and they have thought about several practicalities that really add value to your stay: a provided beach towel, a separate room to hang your clothes to dry, an espresso machine, fresh water and delicious croissants, … It’s difficult to imagine there is a better place to stay when in El Cotillo! I’ll be back for sure :)

Great little hotel

Monica, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful. She provided us with plenty of suggestions of where to eat and what to do The bed is super comfortable. It's hard to get up once you lie down The cleanliness is great! The room is refreshed every day There is a hot tub that you can use until 21:30

The sound isolation is not great. You can hear people walking down the hallway. This takes away the feeling of privacy in your room Since it's a small hotel it does not have all the facilities that you would get in bigger hotels like: a laundry service or machine; a restaurant for eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner; meeting rooms; etc.

Monica was very helpful, providing us with recommendations for places to visit, eat and see. We stayed for just 2 days but felt very relaxed in the hotelito atmosphere. The weather wasn't the best during our stay but we took full advantage of the sunny terrace and hot tub!

Perfect, tranquil stay in the heart of a charming village

the hotel is located right in the middle of cotillo, a two minute walk from the beautiful old port where you can enjoy amazing meals and scenic views over the ocean. Monica (the owner) was so kind and provided us with the best service, tips for what to do and see in the area, and even complimentary croissants in the morning:) the place itself is super cute and peaceful, with the inner courtyards and the superb rooftop (including the hot tub which was a dream!!). I will be recommending to anyone and everyone who wants to visit Fuerteventura - both Hotelito and El Cotillo itself were our favorite part of the trip for sure!
