About this condo rental
Beautiful completely renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bath ski in/ski out condo overlooking Ballhooter lift. Condo is like new with updated kitchen with full size stainless steel appliances, upgraded bathroom with large vanity, cork flooring and electric fireplace. New carpet throughout and a new mattress on the sofa bed installed in 2021. This condo is very comfortable, clean and a perfect location with great top floor views while also avoiding the noise of lower level units. New larger balcony was completed in Fall of 2022 and is now available for use. Condo has a comfortable queen bed in the bedroom. The sofa in the living room is also a pull out bed allowing the condo to sleep 4 comfortably. Just park your car in the security guarded parking lot and no need to drive again, as Mountain Lodge has the best location at Snowshoe, right on the slopes and just steps away from the Village and Split Rock Pools. An indoor playground, indoor skating rink and arcade for the kids are additional amenities available.

Everything was as expected. Our host had clearly explained the check-in process and there were clear directions for the unit including the electric fireplace. Everything was clean and need and the kitchen had everything you need for cooking except the food. Best location in the village as you walk out the back door, pop on your skis and down the slopes you go.

We stayed over Christmas '23. The condo has been recently renovated with a very nice balcony overlooking the Ballhooter lift. The kitchen is well stocked, especially for the size. The Lodge is dated but has a ping pong table and a pool table we enjoyed on days we were not skiing. We had reservations for Al Dente' (located in the Lodge) and Ale House Junction (in the village). Both were very good! Definitely recommend reservations for the Junction, as they had a 45-60 minute wait. We enjoyed our stay and made some wonderful memories! Candy was helpful and responsive. We hope to come back again!

My family and I loved this property. It was right next to a lift and easily accessible to both the village and slopes. And of course the twin rock pools that my son had to swim in every night. Will definitely be back!

It’s the Off Season for this area. But we knew this and it was still a very good place to stay, for what we wanted to do.

The layout makes the most of this one bedroom condo which is perfect for a couple and kids. Candy was able to figure out a way to deal with a linear kitchen and table space for eating without the fixed island used in many other units that simply gets in the way most of the time.
The condo all the expected amenities like dishwasher, dvd, cable and wifi, etc. It also has a realistic faux fireplace for that relaxing evening curled up beside the “fire”. This unit also has a separate storage closet for skis. Unlike other units I have rented in Mountain Lodge it has lots of drawers for storage in the living room and bedroom.
I will be back.

Finally a place where it wasn't loud at night in Mt Lodge. We did have towels this past weekend so that was also a plus. The bathroom was nice and new great vanity for storing toiletries.

Amazing location and the views from the deck were incredible, you are right on one of the main lifts. Property is pretty much as advertised, the only thing that was incorrect in the listing is that the indoor playground at the Lodge is currently closed, which is unfortunate as it was one of the reasons we booked. The bed could also stand to be replaced because, as a previous reviewer noted, the mattress slopes in toward the middle with two people in the bed which means you sleep on a slope. Overall we were happy with our stay and would book again!

The location is very good because ski in ski out. Fun lobby areas for kids and friend gathering. Only reason I gave 3 stars is because no towels or face cloths upon our arrival, so none of the family could take showers until next day. Even then, we had to go to front desk and request towels. And we had to use those same towels the entire week, even though we requested new ones, they never arrived. The excuse was the "company" forgot to deliver them. Sorry, that's not my problem. Also, very long line just to check in....felt sorry for the one poor girl trying to check in the huge crowd of people. C'mon Mountain Lodge, it's not like your rooms are cheap, so I know you can afford to hire more than one person to run the entire place at front desk.

Super cute, clean, great location, great view from balcony, well equipped except no paper towels, no extra garbage bags, and also not enough pillows provided. The toilet paper was not very soft. But, the #1 complaint is by far the mattress. It is only 6" thick with a huge dip in the middle. I had to stay perched on the edge of the bed all night so that I didn't roll onto my wife and wake her up. Didn't matter though because the mattress was so uncomfortable she didn't get much sleep either. IMHO every short term rental should have a top of the line mattress with a zippered encasement and top mattress protector to protect the investment. It is THE MOST IMPORTANT aspect. We own a short term rental and put $1500 mattresses on the beds. I will continue to give 3 star reviews to any short term rentals that go cheap on the mattresses. Overall though we still had a wonderful time skiing in Snowshoe!

The property was perfect for my daughter and I. The location was perfect and the room has a great view of the lake and the valley. We love Snowshoe, Cass, and Green Bank. we were glad to visit the area for an end of Summer trip. Candy was very helpful and the lodge is located immediately next to the slipes, ski lift, the village shops and restaurants.

This property does not come with Air Conditioning so it gets a bit stuffy. There are fans, but it would be great if the sliding balcony door would have opened fully vs the tiny crack that is allowed. Once the balcony is complete, it will be a super sweet location. Mtn Lodge in general needs a lot of TLC, but this unit was as advertised. The bed was comfy so that is a super plus in my book.

Location was excellent to slopes and village. Price was great. Set up was a little noisy with the bedroom being by the inside hallway to the lodge. Amenities and unit looked updated. A lot of storage space, and wonderful hot shower.
