Exactly what we expected. The road was a little more busy that I thought.

We booked in January 2022 for two weeks at the end of August 2022. We arrived to a cute house, great location and yard, but with moldy AC units and a spider problem. We quickly discovered that while the house looked clean at first look, but there were huge spider cobwebs and numerous very large spiders throughout the house . It was clear that corners had been cut with cleaning through the summer and beyond. We contacted Bob, he was responsive but didn't take enough action to fully resolve either issue.

We loved our time in the cottage, and every day we discovered more things to enjoy. Early morning coffee with the birds and the breeze on the back deck, board games, tons of books, and a big tv for rainy days, neighborhood walks to multiple parks, playgrounds, and the library, and even a nature trail that ends within sight of the best bakery on the cape! The street the cottage is on is a little busy, but we didn’t find it bothersome. It was never too busy to get out of the driveway in a timely manner. One block over is a very quiet neighborhood that was the perfect setting for family strolls and jogs. The lush trees behind the back yard were full of wildlife. We saw bunnies, hummingbirds, goldfinches, and even a couple of bats, who helpfully ate so many mosquitoes we were very rarely bothered by bug bites. We even heard a screech owl one night! The kitchen has impeccable vintage vibes, and I’m seriously in love with the cast iron enamel sink, with a view into the trees. There were plenty of sheets, towels, and blankets, and the art and antiques everywhere in the house made it very homey and charming. It’s full of personality, and we left the place feeling a lot of affection for it! The owner was very prompt and helpful with all communications, and we felt like we were in good hands.

We loved Bobs house! It’s the perfect location and great for kids! We loved walking to town and to the beach, taking outdoor showers and eating dinner on the back deck. The house was clean and Bob is awesome. The house has everything you need, and we felt right at home. I forgot to bring a book, but Bobs selection of great books had me covered! I highly recommend this house!
