About this cabin rental
Located in East Fork, this charming cabin for $229 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This lofted two bedroom, one bath cabin sits on a secluded riverfront property, backed up to wooded mountainside -- it's the perfect place for a little rest & relaxation, a family getaway, or a couple's vacation. The cabin has a clean rustic design and everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay. The living area has a sofa and lounge chair centered around a stone fireplace with electric flame logs that can be enjoyed with or without the heating function. The fireplace is not available for wood burning, but we do have a portable firepit on the porch for this function. In the corner of the living room is a small TV with soundbar as well as a DVD player and large DVD collection for movie nights. There is a full kitchen stocked with dishware & utensils, some small appliances, cookware/bakeware, as well as some basic spices and supplies. The kitchen has an adjoining bar counter with two stools for dining. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, nightstand, and dresser. The master bedroom closet has extra linens, pillows, and blankets as well as some folding camp chairs. There is a full bathroom on the main floor and a stocked linen closet in the hallway -- toilet paper, washcloths & towels, hair dryer, as well as some toiletries are provided. The spacious loft area has a queen-size bed, love seat, lounging floor chairs, and a steamer trunk filled with games and puzzles. There is a large covered porch with firepit, rustic wood swing, and porch furniture from which to enjoy the views of the property and river. Directly in front of the cabin is a private pickleball court available for guest use. The cabin is located in Cruso, NC, which is near the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Pisgah National Forest -- a perfect place to view the fall leaves during leaf season or enjoy the beautiful mountain views during any season. FEES: $100 cleaning fee PLEASE NOTE: We have a 10 day limit on this rental (no bookings over 10 days). Strict 'no pets policy'. We do not have a dishwasher or laundry facility at this time. WINTER RENTALS: We are located at the end of a fairly steep paved driveway. If there is any heavy accumulation of ice or snow you will need a 4WD vehicle or snow tires. Beautiful cabin on the banks of the Pigeon River. 20 minutes from the Biltmore. Went fishing and tubing on the river. Host provided pickleball equipment and cornhole. Excellent area for star gazing. We hope to return soon

Both the location and accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. The front porch was a perfect spot to relax and watch the leaves, listen to the river. I felt at home as soon as I got there.

Cabin was beautiful, right next to the Pigeon River. Waking up to the sounds of the river was wonderful. The property manager was responsive and helpful while still giving us space. The owners live on the same driveway as the cabin but it still feels like a secluded retreat, and we never felt like we were bejng watched. Wonderful stay!

Even with all the damage from the flooding the property was beautiful and you can visibly see the care and love the owners have for it. The river was wonderful and refreshing to play in after a day of hiking and seeing the local towns. The hiking along the blue ridge parkway was amazing and easily accessible from the house. Even with the storm damage that didn't take anything away from our trip. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed! 10/10 would recommend!

Loved all the little details and provisions of coffee, marshmallows, toiletries, etc. Highly recommend Waynesville for exploring - Mountain Range gun range, Boojum’s, Blue Rooster, and Mast’s General Store. Also recommend trekking Shining Creek Trail. Would definitely come back and recommend the cabin to family and friends.
Please note there isn’t a dishwasher and the internet/ wifi was a little spotty at times.

Hiding right off the road this gem is just waiting to be discovered! Sit outside and listen to the creek/stream, watch the wildlife wander through! This is a gorgeous getaway retreat!

The house is a fairly new construction, really excellently done. Everything inside is immaculately clean and the cabin is well provisioned with textiles, cleaning supplies, etc. Julie was easily contactable and responsive to all of our queries. We loved the front porch, with the comfortable swing bench. The property is very large and includes direct river frontage. We had a magical evening of setting up the fire pit near the river, and watching the moon shine on the water. Property highly recommended.

We had a great weekend at this cabin! Was updated and very clean! Property owner supplied linens and some kitchen essentials and was very responsive to any questions! Gated and very safe driveway with a big yard for children to play. Great fly fishing is also located right on the property

We loved this cabin and property so much that this was our second time staying here. This time was a bit different due to the devastating flooding that occurred just before our trip. We were heartbroken at the loss that people in the community went through. Thankfully there was no damage to the cabin. The host Julie was very open with us regarding the situation before we arrived and also gave us the option to cancel despite being past the cancel date. We decided to come and still enjoyed our time. Just like before, the cabin was very immaculate and cozy and had everything we needed. Julie is very responsive to questions and was very thoughtful when preparing the property. We hope to return again in happier times.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It is in a really cool location out of the way but not to far from town. The Blue Ridge Parkway is close by to. Place was clean, I would love to stay there again.

We stayed for a week and loved the beautiful setting and comfortable well thought out cabin that has everything one may need even for prolonged stays in a great location close to Pisgah forest water falls, lake lure and the over look on the parkway, its also close to the small town of Canton that has a few restaurants and a cool brewery. The cabin is very safe and built like a fortress I say this because we witness the recent overflow of the pigeon river from the porch and felt very safe. Also we give Julie the property manager 10 stars and a AAA++++++

Absolutely gorgeous location right next to the Pigeon River in a beautiful part of WNC. Everything about the cabin was quality and Julie was easily reachable if we ever needed her. We've been to this part of the state many times but were thrilled to find this spot and will definitely return!

Kids enjoyed trying to catch fireflies in the early evening while we watched from the elevated porch drinking coffee

We loved our stay and wish it lasted longer. The cabin was well appointed, clean, quiet, and in a perfect mountain setting steps from the Pigeon River. We were able to “unplug”, relax, and explore the grounds and neighboring areas.

The pictures of the property were so pretty I looked into it. The process was easy and was done in few minutes. Host responded very promptly to any questions I had.

Cute cabin in the woods. Great for a few night getaway. Clean and comfy. Wish it sat a little further off main road to truly give you the mountain feel but the property was large and gorgeous. Pickleball court was great to have. Easy drive to trails and downtown Asheville. Only negative was hard to watch football on TV. Not many channel options and was a very small TV. We would stay there again.

This is a pristine property with a lot of amenities to spend a week or just a few days of R&R. The river is only 60 yds from the front door and so peaceful to to listen to and walk along or fish. How many cabins in the country have a pickle ball court to play on any time you want? The deer in the front yard eating apples from around the trees each evening is so much fun to see only 20 yds away.....It never gets old.
Although 35 minutes from Asheville, we mainly enjoyed driving into the mountains to walk some of the beautiful trails and pull over to take in the scenic views.
The loft was a great area for our daughter to find some solitude of her own.
It was just perfect for us and highly recommend if you truly want to get away in fine country fashion.

Fishing Getaway
This was the perfect spot to stay for us. We could walk out the front door and walk right out to the Pigeon River! The cabin was exactly as advertised! It was clean and well-equipped with all of the essentials and more! Perfect for the two of us! It was close to everything we wanted to do this weekend. The host, Julie, was available and explained everything about the cabin. Great weekend! Thank you!

Perfect Couples Getaway
This property was beautiful! Lots of creatures to see at this cabin in the woods. I caught some fish and did lots of relaxing. It was nice to have pretty much everything you need for your stay, with the exception of food! Julie was absolutely wonderful and very responsive to every message sent!
