About this cottage rental
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE SENDING INQUIRIES. It answers many frequently asked questions. Click 'View More' to read the info in it's entirety. It will take roughly one minute of your time. 7 night minimum during July and August. 3 night minimum during other available months. Rental is not available during November to Mid-April. No pets, no exceptions made. We do not negotiate rates, offer reduced rates or viewings of the property. Public street parking. Beach tags are provided. If you would like to know the total cost of your stay, enter your arrival and departure dates followed by View Details. This is a 2nd floor vintage cottage that sleeps four with a maximum of four people. It's a rear unit on 330 Ocean Ave. located just four blocks from the beach at Third and Ocean Ave. The cottage has central air conditioning and heating, Wi-Fi/TV/Netflix, a living room/dining area, two bedrooms with wicker twin beds in one and a lovely antique full bed in the other, full bath with tub and shower. The kitchen is of yesteryear with a refrigerator, gas stove, farm sink, a beautiful vintage farm cabinet, microwave and coffee maker. It’s fully equipped for your cooking needs including the wine glasses for the evening. There is a small balcony for your relaxation and a shared, small yard with a picnic table and benches. An open, outdoor shower head is situated outside the yard's surrounding white fence to wash off after returning from the beach. Check-in is 4:00-9:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. You provide your linens and towels. Beach tags are provided as part of the rental fee, but must remain at the cottage upon departure for the next guests. No smoking on the premises. $250.00 fee to be taken for cleaning of smoke from cottage. The boardwalk and beach are just a short walk away. The bay is just a few blocks from the cottage to place your boat, if needed. There is a laundromat located roughly one block from the cottage. Positively 4th Street Cafe is around the corner as well, which has great food and atmosphere. Restaurants such as Mosaic, Cousins and Island Grill dot the corners close to the cottage. Downtown Ocean City is within walking distance and hosts over one hundred places to shop and eat. _______________ Rentals require a $500.00 security deposit which is refunded after 7 days of a guest's departure, barring no property damage. Costs for damage incurred by a guest shall be the responsibility of the guest. You may choose to have additional cleaning services on an extended stay each week at $100.00 a week. No sub-leasing of the rental.

There was a nice deli just steps from the house and a great restaurant. Downtown was a nice 10 minute walk we had breakfast downtown just about every morning. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The beach was a few blocks but we didn't mind the walk.

Just as described. Anything you need is within walking distance. My only complaint is the twin beds are very noisy when getting into or turning yourself over. Otherwise, the perfect little getaway.

Property was walking distance to the beach and take out. Quiet, friendly neighborhood.

The kitchen is small but efficient. The stove works well and were able to comfortably prepare simple meals. In addition, there are lots of food options close by. We also took frequent walks to Annie's, a very good ice cream shop right around the corner. There is fresh bread, bagels, sandwiches and other take out at Benny's, very close and easy, and a restaurant, Mosaic that looked great with a nice atmosphere and outside seating. We didn't actually manage to eat there but heard lots of good things. A short walk to the boardwalk and beach, and a wonderfully historic neighborhood great for just taking walks in. We loved our stay. The host was communicative and kind. I will definitely try to book this again in the future.

Great cozy cottage!
This is a super nice and clean cottage off the beaten path! Close to many restaurants and easy access to the boardwalk but a quiet location for relaxation! Property was clean and well maintained, and the check in/out process is a breeze. My only critique is the double bed is very noisy and the mattress topper didn’t fit. But if you take off the topper it’s much more comfortable, but still squeaks. Other than that is was a great little cottage for some R&R. Thanks so much for the memories!!

The description and pictures were accurate! No surprises! Communication with the host was great! The host was attentive and takes a keen interest in the property. The couch was super comfy! The beds were comfortable but made a lot of noise when you moved! The double bed was a bit "short" for my six-foot husband. We had a wonderful stay and would consider booking again in the future!

Overall the stay was great but the full-size bed was old, very uncomfortable and very squeaky. The coffee maker was old and cheap and made the coffee taste like plastic. The knives were very dull and needed to be sharpened.

Peaceful Old-Fashioned Cottage
Great location on a very quiet back alley behind Ocean Ave, just a few blocks walk to beach at 3rd or 4th Street. We loved the authenticity of this old-school beach cottage. It was very efficient and functional, with two bedrooms, one full bathroom (with great shower), and a kitchen that had everything we needed (except a functioning can opener!). The deck and small backyard with picnic table were great, and the Biblical large cypress tree was amazing and memorable. The bed was very comfortable. Large screen TV with Netflix was a plus. We would love to stay here again. So charming — don't ever remodel it please!

Very cute. Everything you need.
Came for a week with my dad, sister and brother to relive our Jersey Coast days. Location is quiet and convenient to anything you would need. The highlight of the apartment is the porch with an old cypress tree that shields you from the apartments surrounding you.
I will say, and this has no reflection on the owner, that four adults was a little tight for us. Dining table is in LR and kitchen functions nicely, but again a bit small. Bedrooms were plenty with double bed in one and two twins in another. My sister and I shared the double which was fine cause we are smaller people anyway.
Overall it was a pleasant stay and we really enjoyed the place. We would stay again and no reason not to recommend.

Awesome Home Away From Home
The property was clean as a whistle when we arrived! I stayed here for 11 nights with my family (boyfriend and our 4 year old daughter) It was a perfect little 2nd floor apartment that was just right for us.
My boyfriend and I loved the 2nd floor porch to sit out on at night. It was a short distance to the beach and the surrounding area was calm and family oriented.
I would recommend staying here and would love to come back in the future!

Great place to stay!
This was a sweet little spot tucked away in a convenient location. I loved sitting on the covered porch that was sheltered by a neat cypress tree. Very comfortable but NOT fancy. We had everything we needed.

Very nice for the price
Everything was great! There were some things that we would’ve liked to have had such as instructions for every appliance in the kitchen, but aside from that it was a very enjoyable experience!

Lots of great little touches to make this property a nice place. Could’ve used a bigger bed in the master but otherwise a nice place. Shower stays hot through the whole family taking a shower.

lovely cottage
Perfect place for 2 couples - my sons and their wives enjoyed this classic cottage, sipping morning coffee on the little porch under the shade tree. Privacy and quiet and a Quick walk to the beach and good restaurants. Hope to return someday!

Absolutely, charming. I loved the decor and conveniences. All the little hooks everywhere were great to have. The owners really well thought out how to make it efficient to live in.... can't wait to book again in the future.

Charming, cozy and cost-effective place close to restaurants and beach
I have rented vacation places annually in Ocean City for over 20 years and this is by far one of the best I have experienced . The homey, antique furnishings have a lot of character. And the porch is great. The web site photographs show exactly what you get—unlike many owners’ web sites. The cottage is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Finding convenient on-street parking can be a challenge on weekends. But at worst you may have to walk a couple blocks through a very nice, safe neighborhood. It was well worth the walk to me. I hope to rent there again in the future.

Cozy Cottage in a Convenient Spot
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this quaint 2nd floor cottage. It was tastefully decorated and the owners definitely maximized the use of the space. It fit our needs perfectly and we will likely rent here again in years to come.
One recommendation for the owners is to put up some black-out shades on the bedroom windows. The rooms get bright fast early in the morning.

Great location.
My husband and I stayed here for a week in July and absolutely loved. It is small and may be a bit tight for 4 adults but it is beautifully decorated and the location is wonderful. It was close to town and the boardwalk and has virtually everything we needed for a great week. The front porch gets a nice breeze in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again.

this cottage is very comfy and clean. perfect size for a small family. laundromat in close by and plenty of dining options within walking distance. beautiful original hardwood flooring throughout living/bedroom areas. nice little fenced in yard with picnic table. we would definitely rent this cottage again.
