Rundum herrlich

I like the room was extremely clean and the window in the roof was unique to me. The breakfast was very good. They even made seperate plate with hot stuff because I was vegetarian. The staff was extremely nice. I would go there whenever I get opportunity.
WiFi signal was little weak in the cabin. My phone kept loosing connection.

The place is so nice with the sky view window to see, the village has given us welcome drink, and I can park my car outside my cottage, very convenient

Location, food, sauna by the river and lots of activities, friendly staff. Sauna by the river was fun but unfortunately not free.
The aurora app is not accurate, I missed the sighting twice because it did not ring or rang at the wrong time. Other guests also complained when I asked. You have to pay for this app 10€ to get the code. Don’t relies on it is my biggest advice. Better stay up. Minimal to no service. Have to pay for the sauna, gets expensive if you stay longer.

vibe and kind staff
water system.. you can only have max 15 min shower.. it’s not a good thing for such a leisure hotel in the middle of snow

I booked a one night stay, Feeding Reindeer and Photography experience and Private Barrel Sauna experience. Let me just say that this has been the best place I have stayed in Lapland! They have amazing hospitality and the dinner was simply amazing!!! And yes, it’s included in the price of accommodation. The presentation of the food is just awesome. The Aurora Village team was very friendly and helpful. If you are planning to come to Lapland, this place is a must to stay for one night. You will not regret.
Nothing. This place is awesome!

A lot opportunities to do at the village. Nice breakfast buffet and a very nice Igloo with everything you need at a great place.
Also the coffee and tea are all day available at the main restaurant.

very good wifi connection
cute reindeers living at the property
the food at the restaurant is very good, with vegan or vegeterian options available
loved the sauna and all the other activities you can book through the hotel
the fact that you cant set the room temperture by yourself... during the day, the room temperture was too cold and during the night, too hot

This is a beautiful resort in the woods and near the Ivalo river. The aurora-viewing igloo/cabins are charming - possibly a bit on the small side for two people, but brilliant for a solo traveller. The staff are astonishingly nice and friendly and the food is great. This is a good place for doing one's own thing (e.g. hiking in the woods in the snow); there is no pressure to book activities. The barrel sauna is very nice.

Lodges were so cute and cosy, the view all day & night were spectacular- so much so that we would just sit and watch outside - we really couldn’t fault it! it felt so private, as the lodges are done in a way they don’t face each other, this was the best holiday we’ve ever been on. the staff were lovely and all activities we booked, we loved, we didn’t get to see the northern lights much, as it was cloudy but it didn’t matter as everything else was so good - the food is also banging!

The cabins were wonderful and made for the perfect location for viewing the northern lights in comfort or simply enjoying the night sky. The food was delicious and the staff were also great. Would definitely return.

The igloos were so cute and cozy! The meals included with half board far exceeded my expectations. The staff were amazing and happy to help with anything. I really liked that the property only had 20 (something) igloos so it didn’t feel too touristy, gave more of an authentic Lapland experience.
Cannot fault the property

The igloos were perfect. The restaurant is a short walk for breakfast and dinner. The food very good.
Local taxi fares are high. If you drive yourself it is great.

one of the best igloo type as the igloo are not facing each other and are close to the forest

Beautiful space. Excellent breakfast. Very serine setting.
The room was warm with temperature control held by the office. No screened window or door to be able to open for some fresh air without letting in the bugs. A bit between seasons with limited activities available.

Food is delicious and the place is very cousy. Great sauna with beautiful views. We managed to see the northern lights on the last night, thanks to the offer of chasing the lights by van at night.
The only drawback is the fact that heating is controlled from the reception so you can't raise the temperature during the night

We stayed in a glass igloo, it was absolutely adorable. The meals were included, and they had a lot of extra activities to book. I highly recommend feeding the reindeer, Best five euros I spent on that trip! Each cabin came with free snow shoes and there is a large amount of property for hiking or Cross country skiing.

The food was AMAZING! Especially the three course dinner! The resort is located in a forest and very idyllic. There are hiking trails right around the resort ans each cabin has snow shoes. You can also do sledding there. The cabins are clean and comfy.
The sauna should be included in the price at least once per guest.

The hotel is located just outside of Ivalo, surrounded by forest and the river and a few private residences. It is quiet and a bit remote. We stayed at the Aurora huts with views on the snow and the forest. The huts are very modern and bigger than what they look like from the outside.
The hotel has snow shoes, cross country skis, sleds and toboggans available for all guests free of charge. We tried everything and ended up cross country skiing on the river for 3h. The tracks leave right from the property, are well maintained and signed. Also tried the sauna and ice swimming which was amazing.
Staff was super friendly and helpful!

It offers plenty of activities, many of them free of charge. For example: snowshoeing, cross country skis, iceskates, kick sledge, toboggans, etc. are complimentary! Therefore there is a lot to do even if you don’t book many trips with them. The trips, however, are totally worth it!
It would be great if sauna and jacuzzi were complimentary for guests that stay a bit longer.

The cabin is wonderful, very spacious and comfy. The glass sauna was great and nicely equipped. I enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi a lot. The village offers many great winter activities. Staff are very caring and helpful. And the food was absolutely amazing!!
If I return to Lapland, this place would be my only choice!!

The food was great. We tried activities like snowmobiles, reindeer sleigh, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, fat-biking, etc. and everything was wonderful.
Aurora spotting system could be free + it would be great to have it as a device in the room (and be able to turn it off if needed). I noticed some guests were struggling with setting the app on their phones.
