Good restaurant, easy sleep near Nijmegen

Easy, free, off road parking. Nice looking entry. The downstairs of the building has been renovated and is modern looking, good vibes. Fresh breakfast with some breads, yoghurt, fruit, 2 style eggs, fresh tea and different kinds of coffee. It all looked great and tasted even better. The restaurant serves classy and tasty food.

Our room was made for the elderly or people in wheelchairs. Therefore the bathroom was one big empty room, practical but did not feel nice or fancy. The grouts could have been cleaner. It needs some tlc. The room was a bit dated compared to the downstairs but all worked and the bed was nice.

Very nice!

Very comfortable bed, clean hotel, nice breakfast

It was a bit warm during the night, but we could open the windows for fresh air. No airco available in the room

Convenient stay for the occasion.

Breakfast was standard, but fine. A nice touch was, that we could have it on the terrace.

We had a hughe bathroom (suitable for wheelchair use), but the actual shower area of it was quite small. Also, since the bathroom was made for people sitting down, the actual sink and mirror were quite low for a person standing up. There was no stool to sit down in front of the mirror, so shaving proved difficult.

Nice hotel close to Thermen Berendonck, very peaceful and relaxing

We slept in a very large double room, which was very clean. There was also a kettle to make tea. It was easy to reach the room using the lift. The people at the reception were very friendly. At breakfast it was possible to get a variety of coffees and of teas, and even to prepare a herbal tea with mint, cinnamon, anis... to put directly in the cup

Perhaps one could increase the variety of food available for breakfast (e.g. more types of cheese, some cake...).

Recommended hotel for your business trip or even vacation in wide area

This is cozy and clean place with high quality restaurant. Both exterior and interior seemed new or at least well maintained. Very good price compared to other hotels in Nijmegen area.

Very good

We were able to store our 4 bikes safely. The staff in this convenient hotel were fantastic. The rooms were spacious and clean but basic. They did the job perfectly. The dining room was wonderful with colour and character. Our supper that night was fantastic and cooked by a young and obviously talented chef.. Our waitress was terrific, efficient and fun. A perfect overnight stop for 4 tired cyclists.

Nothing to dislike. Just potential to brighten up/update the bedrooms.

Large comfortable room

Our very large room was most welcome. A very nice hotel with a very good restaurant. I had the rib eye steak which was delicious. It made this stay memorable.

A nice little escape from city noise.

Brilliant location opposite a large lake, nice outdoor seating in a nice quiet place, i would stay again.

My room did need mordernising, but still clean and comfortable, breakfast was way too basic and lacked variety, some bacon, scrambled and fried eggs, warm toast and butter would make all the difference.

I had imagined it differently.

I do not recommend. We arrived at an agreed time with the hotel - there was no one to open the door for us. I booked a room with a disabled access, which, according to the description, was supposed to rely on, among other things, a no-threshold shower, and I found a bathtub. The rest is normal

Friendly staff and great location.

Friendly staff and great location. Smooth check in/out process. On the last day we needed to print the return tickets and this was also possible! Room was clean and tidy, overal excellent service.

Maybe the room could have been a bit bigger. For 3 guess it was a bit small.

It was a good stay for my business trip, the staff is very welcoming and helpful.

The room was nice and spacey, and the staff was really helpful. I was worried about transportation from the hotel to the location I was supposed to visit. Taxis in The Netherlands are costly. They asked me where it was I had to go to and then offered me the use of one of the hotel bicycles. Wonderful!

To write here what could have been better, after a hotel suffered from lockdowns during two years, would be a terrible thing to do. There was nothing wrong that can't be overcome. I communicate such issues directly with the hotel.

The room are quite simple but spacious enough. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Perfect location if you are visiting Thermen Berendonck.
