Good. I would definitely recommend the Savoy Hotel for a good value stay in Brides les Bains.

Brides les Bains = good. Good ambiance. Hotel, good. Clean, warm, interesting building and locale, plenty of hot water - all you need without the frills.

Hotel - well now you ask, the decor could do with some sprucing up. The restaurant was a bit dull. No-one wants only raclette with no other choices for example. Breakfast a bit dull. Main issue - coffee from a machine & not particularly nice croissants. Get the staff to make decent coffee and get some decent croissants and you will be flying. Ditch the horrible (really horrible) English breakfast - you haven't a clue there. Come on, it's in France!

Left the hotel because of bed bugs, however the staff moved me to a different hotel which was fine.

The location was good, quite close to the ski lift. The staff were helpful when I reported the issue with the bed bugs and they moved me to another hotel nearby.

The room had bed bugs, and because the hotel is not staffed 24/7 I could only report this in the morning so I had to stay somewhere else on the first night. The hotel have however confirmed they've since treated all the rooms to eradicate the issue, and they advised that unusual weather (late winter so warmer temperatures) could've been the reason the bugs were there.

room was 16 meters maximum certainly not 20 like it was said in booking, too small, cleaning was very bad, the hotel is completely old, in the room was even a smell of an old building!

Loved the place and the people working there - many thanks!

Very friendly and helpful staff gave us the warmest welcome! We were able to stay and enjoy our stay with a dog. Very good breakfast included in the price. We also absolutely enjoyed the dinner. There is a convenient parking for free. All this is located in a few minutes by foot to the ski lift that will transfer you to the real mountain paradise!

Mayor guarantees you don't need a winterisation pack.

Major says you don't need a winterisation pack in Bride. I believe he even guarantees it. Good breakfast.

Coffee machine is pathetic leading to long lines at breakfast.

A notch overpriced, but fine overall!

Everything was fine all in all. Bathroom was clean and new, beds very comfortable, hot food was served at breakfast. The room was in good shape, and the location is cool.

There were several negative points to mention, BUT in general I enjoyed the stay. First, the hotel is not freshly refurbished (not all-new), you can see some wears and tears here and there. Second, in my room I had quite a nasty flow of air along the floor, which did not allow to walk bare-foot in there. Third, soundproof in the room could really be better. And finally, BEWARE of early check-out from the property. I was allowed to take my time and be somewhat late though, for which thanks to the staff (they were very nice).

basic but extremely warm and comfortable. good beds, nice shower. Staff were fantastic. breakfast was good too! Will definitely return for a good value trip to 3V

Good

It's an excellent location if you are on a budget and want to avoid the high hotel prices in the 3 vallee resorts higher up. Hotel is at 5 minute walk from the cable car that will take you to Meribel in about 20 minutes. Town has a few restaurants, shops, some après-ski. Highly recommended.

The location is the only good

Great value hotel in an excellent location.

Room was very clean, breakfast selection was perfect. Staff very very helpful and polite.

staff and hotel perfect for our stay

Savoy hotel room was perfect, spacious and was cleaned daily, The breakfast was plentiful, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, breads, eggs, bacon and a couple of fresh juices. A ski room was available along with a baggage room for leaving whilst we skied on the last day but the Staff were very helpful nothing to much trouble. We even had a shower when we left to come home in the Sauna room. 10 out of 10

Great hotel

Located a couple of minutes walk from the gondola. Very helpful and friendly staff Good price both for the room and food Good variety of food for breakfast Wednesday Raclette night was excellent food Room was small but clean. Suitable for my needs

The gondola broke the last 2 days of my stay. Replaced by a bus service. Not the hotel's fault but would affect any decision to stay in BLB in the future. Hotel was unable to get me a taxi to Moutier for my departure day. I tried myself also unsuccessfully. Again, this not the fault of the hotel but makes it difficult to return to BLB knowing the taxi situation. Using a hire car or self driving would alleviate these problems as there is plenty of available parking at the rear of the hotel.
