Nice hotel in the middle of the forrest next to Kloster Marienthal and directly on the Rheinsteig.

We arrived and were sent to our room even though it hadn’t been cleaned after previous guests - so we had to find a messy room that had sweet wrappers and condoms lying around. The staff weren’t very friendly and told us that if we wanted breakfast we‘d need to tell them immediately, only to then say that all breakfasts had already been booked out. This is not what I expect when paying 160€ for a night. There was also no phone coverage in the hotel room so I was unable to make or receive any calls.

Breakfast was OK.

Staff were not overly helpful. One in particular was quite rude. In general did not feel welcome.
