great location, wonderful staff, and beautiful rooms - in particular the ones with view on the port

Nice location on a piazza with cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating and access to the marina. Abundant, good-quality breakfast, capuccinos included. The reception manager kindly sorted out the issue with our room and booked our return transfer to the airport.

Our twin room wasn't available despite our request having been confirmed months in advance. The junior receptionist was rude and unwelcoming about it making us feel uncomfortable. No help to carry suitcases upstairs to the second floor. Swimming pool area is small.

Perfect location in the middle of everything, clean and nice room, but very basic. was overpriced but maybe because it was high season.

They don't have free parking. to park in their dedicated area which is about 5 minutes walk, they charge 10 euro per day. beware if you are coming with a car.

charging enough (450 euros PN) to match a 5 star hotel rate for a room so small that couldn’t fit my suitcase let alone me and a bed that my cat would struggle to sleep in. it was beyond bad value. more… ludicrously so.

Location is close to beaches but a bit far from the airport, so better rent a car instead if staying longer. Breakfast is not bad. Room is well decorated. Staff (Laura) is extremely helpful.

Rooms are tiny, just before we had a huge luxury apartment in the hotel Bagaglino I Giardini Di Porto Cervo in Liscia di Vacca, just next to Porto Cervo (The hotel had a private beach in a lovely bay and our apartment had a huge balcony with panorama sea-view, private garden and kitchen. It cost, for 1 adult and 1 child, 250,- without breakfast. In San Marco we paid 290,- with breakfast (which was fabulous). The location of San Marco is great for night-life, shopping and for those who come by yacht and just want to stay a night and two in a marina hotel,

The location is perfect - right on the San Marco Piazza right by the port, restaurants and bars. The hotel is understated- very comfortable and well maintained, the pool is very pretty, the rooms very comfortable and housekeeping the best and most efficient we’ve experienced. But what sets this hotel apart is it’s people - the service is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble. Laura and Marta on the front desk advised and assisted us throughout our stay, Angelo on the bar makes the world’s best Capriosca and kept buying us drinks, Stefan who seems to do everything from general and pool cleaning and maintenance and collection of laundry and brought our luggage all the way back from the boat and Michela who served us breakfast. All were so friendly and helpful we would very strongly recommend anyone thinking of visiting the Costa Smerelda to stay in this hotel.
