Beautiful place, great location and lovely hosts. Would recommend to anyone!

Loved our stay here! Property was beautiful, room had everything we needed and very comfy beds. Great wifi. Great location a close walk to beach, shops and restaurants. Hosts were absolutely lovely and very accommodating when we had a late flight and needed somewhere to shower. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again

Highly recommended!!!! Will definitely go back again!!

I arranged with Cilla for Roses and Prosecco in the room as it was a very special occasion. Cilla went to so much effort and had rose pedals at various spots in the unit with special rose pedal heart on the bed. Ice bucket filled with ice and the bottle Prosecco, all ready just to celebrate!!

Nothing!!!!! Cilla welcomed us and the room and seating outside was beautiful!! Well equipped extremely neat and spacious room, attention is given to every possible a client may have.

Bad timing for me: loadshedding, no water, reception had substitute.

Beautiful property, Convenient location. Communication before arrival good/helpful. Arranged a VERY NICE shuttle service. Breakfast was nice. I would totally give this place another try. I think I just had bad timing.

A storm of unfortunate event made my stay here less than I hoped. The place is lovely. The communication before arrival great. The location walking distance to the water and restaurants. Sadly- my checkin (not done by the hosts) was frustratingly long [an hour]. In addition to load shedding [rolling electric outage across the country], they were suffering an area wide "no water " situation - meaning we were all learning ways to deal with it -and this was explained to me and my stay was prepared for by the hosts. My big problem was that there was a strong ammonia smell I n my room. Thought it was cats- but they said they had just cleaned the carpets. As the night went on and humidity got higher, the vapors were overwhelming. I couldn't sleep- no fan (they said I was in a cheaper room with no fan) and due to the glass doors over looking the pool (fancy!) I , couldn't comfortably leave door open. I would totally give this place another try. I think I just had bad timing.

Couples retreat

Very close to the hot spots in Umhlanga, walking distance in fact. The best omelette I've eaten in years. The breakfast is truly exceptional.

The shower left alot to be desired. Whether it was the mixer or the system that the geyser runs off, you either get scalding hot or ice cold. After a long day of travelling, a shower the shower was what my partner was looking forward to.

Surpassed our expectations

From the minute we arrived Peter and Cilla were very attentive. The room was clean and very light and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast were very good value for money with lots of options and thed honesty bar reflects the relaxed attitude of the hosts and a desire to please their guests. Superb and save location. All of which led to a very enjoyable experience. Thank you Peter and Cilla nad yourf staff !

Hidden Gem

Hidden gem. This has to be one the most elegant and fabulous guest houses I have been to. The location is brilliant, the accommodation is in a class of its own, it has everything you could possibly think of, all you need to pack is your clothes. Breakfast is hearty and a good variety of starters. But the highlight for me was the Host, so warm and welcoming. Excellent job guys. Will definitely come back here.

I like that there is a room with a nice garden area which is also private as well. Great breakfast.

The outside area is smaller than the photo presented so it is misleading as to how big that area actually is. My room had abit of smell which was disappointed as I would expect more for the price I paid.

Gardener was friendly and helpful. Kitchen staff all welcoming and friendly Lovely breakfast The room had everything we needed The place is really well taken care of. Position great. We will use it again next time. We had a great time. Very relaxing environment.

Too many flower pots kind of blocking the way to garden apartment. Not a train smash though. Just thought I should mention.
