Perfect stay in Hvar. Coming back again.

Property is perfectly located above the city center with an incredible view. Mr. Fio picked us up from the bus station and welcomed us very warmly, telling us all about the must visit places. He was the best host we have ever met.

Great location, great views and fantastic host

Great location, great host, great rooms. What more could you ask for. Thank you for Simo for his exceptional hospitality, offering pick up at the closest point from the ferry. The facilities available at the accommodation are great. Spacious clean pool, BBQ area with fantastic views overlooking the Pakleni islands. Some rooms have a private entrance while others are internal to the main property. We had a wonderful stay whilst on Hvar. Simo was able to provide local recommendations of things to do during our stay and very attentive to our requests.

Superb

We really enjoyed our stay at Fio’s for 5 nights. The location was perfect only a 5-7 min walk to the town. Sime was a fantastic host. He picked us up when we arrived as it wouldn’t be an easy walk with suitcases. He gave us a whole book of recommendations. Everything he recommended from restaurants to tours and islands were just perfect. When we strayed from what he recommended we were disappointed so we tried to stick to his list. The pool is great it’s usually quiet you may have it to yourself or you would just be sharing with a handful of people. I do think the pool is necessary to escape the heat so well worth choosing here for the pool. The area above with seating and bbq has a wonderful view. We didn’t cook there but the people who did had a lovely set up looked even nicer than eating out in the restaurants when you have that view on your doorstep. Everything was so clean inside and although there’s a few bits around outside like bricks and blocks of concrete but it didn’t bother us at all. Our room was also ready spacious and we had a lovely sea view too which was a bonus. Also the air conditioning is brilliant in the room which is definitely essential in the heat. Our favourite recommendations from Sime were definitely Navis tours for visiting the islands and blue cave, Jeorlim island (Sime’s sister owns the bar there so you also get access to sun beds), Mizarola restaurant for pizza, Don Armando for lunch, Lola’s we only got there for lunch as it was always so busy in the evening (great Arancini balls and iced coffee), Central Park Club (for affordable cocktails and excellent musicians). There were so many other great recommendations that we didn’t get around too. Overall a fantastic holiday in H’var. If we come back we will certainly stay at Fios.

Great location, spacious apartment and great host

Fio’s is the perfect place to stay on Hvar! The location is so perfect, an easy 5 minute walk into town and the pool is so good to have if you want to stay near to the apartment. Sime was a wonderful host, he was incredibly responsive and helpful. He picked us up from the ferry port and gave us so many recommendations. His written guide is so helpful too and incredibly detailed! The apartment itself is really spacious, with two bathrooms and an incredible terrace which we loved eating on in the evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (including olive oil, salt, pepper etc)

Overall really liked my room, great view and the host was amazing

Sime was a great host, great local knowledge, always contactable for questions and was really helpful during my stay! Room had amazing sea view and good size balcony to sit out on. Only a 5 minute walk to the center of town so really easy to go out and enjoy Hvar

Would of been nice to have the option to have fresh towels but maybe this is available on longer stays or I missed how to. Did not overall impact my stay.

The sea view from the balcony was incredible, and a lovely spot to have coffee in the morning. Room was clean, and bed comfortable. Bonus to be provided with both shower and beach towels. And the pool area was also lovely with a great sea view as well. Owner was really helpful and provided us with great recommendations for our time in Hvar.

Fio’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t say enough about the place and owner, he was excellent from the beginning till the last minute. He contact us before hand beeing really professional, friendly,helpful and polite. Our room had lovely views, balcony and very comfortable beds :) The place it’s just a short walk to town about 3 / 5 min.

property was brilliant and spacious, comfy beds and great facilities

It was lovely to be picked up and dropped off at the apartment but we did get a bit of a lecture of the things we can’t do/shouldn’t be doing which seemed obvious this did bring down the mood down which we didn’t need but that’s the only minor thing. overall the stay was v good and would stay again!

Perfectly located accommodation for short stay in Hvar with the most helpful owners.

amazing location, about 5 mins walk downhill to the town, and about 8 mins to the closest beach. Sime, one of the owners was absolutely amazing - gave us some amazing hints and tips and a guide for when we rented a car for a day. really handy to have a pool as well

Great value for money with a fantastic host!

Great value for money! Apartment had a lovely view with private door to the pool area. The room had great facilities & nice touches . The host was spectacular & provided lots of information. Host picked us up & took us to the harbour.

The room was dated & basic but reflected the price.

Cime our host was excellent and extremely accommodating. He went out of his way to the shop to buy us an iron and shower gel which he absolutely didn’t have to do. He gave great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Highly recommend Fio’s!

Amazing

Our apartment had an amazing sea view of Hvar. Pool next to our apartment was really nice. It was a short downhill walk (5 min) to get to the center/harbour of Hvar. The host was super helpful and friendly and gave us lots of recommendations and tips for our stay. It was also really nice that he transferred us to and from the harbour with our luggage. All in all it was amazing at Fio’s. We would definitely recommend.

Great location and very friendly host

Great host (Mr Fio) who picked us up from the bus station so we didn't have to carry our luggage up many stairs. Very friendly and shared a lot of tips for things to do and restaurants. Gabe us contact details for good boat and scooter rental. The property is very close to the center.

2 small points of improvement. (1) The fridge in the room was quite noisy. (2) In the hallway there is a small kitchen stove and sink, which was used by someone in the property, sometimes quite early in the morning and since it was right next to our door this did wake us up a couple of times.

Great Location, Fantastic Host, Would highly recommend

Great Location. Only 10min walk to port and town centre, 10 min walk to beach. Fio was also so helpful, giving us loads of tips for what to do on the island and contacts of friends and family that have sun loungers and private boat tours at a great price!

Perfect stay and an amazing host !

Everything ! Couldn’t fault this property, amazing value for money and an excellent location close to town. The room was lovely and clean and had a gorgeous view from the balcony. We had booked a double room just so didn’t expect to have any facilities to cook but there was a little shared kitchen space which we could use and a fridge in our room so it was perfect for making breakfast and lunch in our room. The pool was great also and gets a lot of sun , also was never too busy or crowded ! Fio was amazing also, picked us up from the town to save us walking up with our cases and dropped us off when we left also , he even drove us up to a viewpoint when we arrived to show us the best view of the island from its highest point, he also gave us so many suggestions and tips for things to do, places to go and eat etc, nothing was any trouble and such a lovely man ! would definitely come back and recommend this property to anyone !

5 star stay

Amazing experience staying here. The host was so helpful, friendly and professional. He went above and beyond during our stay and was always available if we needed anything. He collected us from the ferry and gave us so much information about Hvar. He influenced us to try the local red wine grown locally and it was amazing. I would highly recommend this place.

We arrived by ferry and the host picked us up personally at the bus stop next by and gave us a quick overview of town and provided us with a lot of very helpful tips. In addition he surprised us with a complimentary wine, and some milk, cereal, butter and jam for breakfast :) . Throughout our stay the host was very mindful. Apparently we were the first guests of this season thus we were able to enjoy the pool just by ourself and the host even gave us a private half day tour over the island during which he shared comprehensive insights about the way of life and history of the island. After that we visited a nice wine tasting and had a lovely lunch afterwards, which made our stay in Hvar even more enjoyable.

Disappointing

Fio's - Hvar Of all the apartments we stayed in (6) on our holiday in Croatia this was the most disappointing. Our apartment was on the roof of the apartment building and quite frankly it was terrible, although on our arrival we were told that we had been upgraded. One of the main problems was that the roof sloped down so you could not stand up in the bath to have a shower, but the whole place was tired and shabby. The area surrounding the apartments was scruffy with old pallets and rubbish everywhere, and the Barbeque area which has a stunning view was also in dire need of attention Not impressed.

We would absolutely stay with Fio's again. Highly recommend!

Great, late season stay at Fio's. My wife and I viewed Fio's as likely a great value for money stay, a little walk away from the center of Hvar town, but still very conveniently located. There were also some amenities that stood out such as the shared pool and very large patio. Everything was as described and Fio was a great host, responding quickly to anything that we needed. He even got our flight boarding passes printed out for us before we departed!

The rooms are definitely a bit dated as compared to some other properties at similar price points. That being said, everything was as described and suited our needs just fine.

The only place to stay in Hvar

Fio's was perfect for our stay in Hvar, close to town and also the beaches. The room was great - we had a balcony with sea views to wake up to every morning. Sime was a great host, giving us tips about the lovely area, what to see/do and where to eat. Sime was there for anything we needed and was always happy to help, he made our trip that much more enjoyable and we wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Great place to stay!

Our host Sime is very dedicated, friendly and helpful. He welcomed us and gave tips on what to do on Hvar. He picked us up and dropped us at the ferry for no extra charge and took us on a wonderful wine tasting! We had a great stay, and would happily stay here again. The room was clean and comfortable, nice balcony with a view and a lovely swimming pool.

Lovely room with an incredible view!

The room and bathroom is huge. They have a big walk in shower and the view from the room's balcony couldn't have been better. Plus, they have a private pool and a terrace which has the best sunset view of the entire island. You don't even need to go up to the fort because this is even better! Incredible place and I will 100% be coming back to book with them again.

There was nothing myself and my girlfriend didn't like about this place. It was phenomenal!
