Best Bedouin hospitality experience in Wadi Rum

To start with, Salem is an excellent host and a very multi talented person who plays the instrument, exceptional host and wears many other hats. Staffs were really friendly and treated us to traditional Bedouin food (Abdullah was a great chef!) accompanied by music and dancing and introducing us to Bedouin hospitality .The room is very comfortable and you can see Wadi Rum landscape from your big window with own private bathroom. Jeep tour we booked was amazing. Our stay here was our best part of our trip in Jordan and highly recommend staying at this camp!.

Best host in Wadi Rum

Our host was amazing, very kind and dedicated. The big jeep tour was fun and the evening gathering was great!

The room was cold and we didn't have warm water for showering.

Nice friendly camp

The tent was big and the Washroom was very clean. I also like the terrace. The social tent was really nice and the food was very delicious. It also had some books and board games. Salem was really very friendly and he helped me with the transportation. The tour was good. At night, I managed to see the stars.

Todo era tal cual en las fotos, y muy limpio. La comida estaba bien y el personal estupendo

El precio de las excursiones es muy exagerado, y no las puedes coger aparte. El guia que nos tocó tampoco explicaba nada y no sabia ingles.

The best camp in Wadi Rum

Amazing hospitality! Tent was large with private bathroom and big, panoramic window. Breakfast are simple but you are on the desert :-) But the dinner was huge and really tasty! It is worth to stay at least 2 nights so you can take camel ride and jeep tour. Try sandboarding :-) Location is quiet (just one camp in neighborhood but not to close). All day you have access to tee with sage (delicious!!!) There is no store (you are on the desert) so if you are looking for snacks or soft drinks, buy them before. Thanks Mohammed and all team for your for care and a great atmosphere. Electricity, hot water are available whole day. Wifi works rather in central area, but trust me, you don’t needed it while you have so beautiful landscape around.

Splendid and Quiet Retreat in the Desert

There are so many great things about Mohammed and the camp. He just recently opened this new camp - there are five individual rooms in a very quiet corner of Wadi Rum. Each one has its own patio and incredible views. Mohammed is a great host, and will help you with whatever you need during your stay. You must try the traditional Bedouin dinner cooked in the ground. All in all it was a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone.

Pleasant

The rooms are clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well during the day in the heat. We did the 4 hour jeep tour and the hot air balloon ride and these activities were amazing.

We were the only people at the camp during our stay, so maybe our experience wasn’t what was expected. We were basically left alone as there was only the cook at the camp, so there were no camp based activities. The food was basic, probably because they were only cooking for 2 people.

Thoroughly recommend! Very homely and great value for money.

Mohammed and his staff were genuinely the most friendly people and made sure we were well looked after throughout our stay. We told him which activities we wanted to do and he arranged everything for us and always made sure we got the best value for money. The activities themselves were really enjoyable, especially the 4 hour jeep tour. The meals were delicious, had good variety and there was always so much on offer. The staff resolved any issues quickly (which were minor) and the facilities were very clean. There is evening entertainment with music at the camp fire, which was a great way to meet the other guests and the hosts really make you feel at home.

We stayed here 3 nights and loved it. Excellent jeep rides and dune boarding

There are spectacular views across the desert. The cabins are comfortable. A delicious dinner of rice and chicken was cooked in an underground pit. Mohammad, who runs the place, is exceptionally helpful and kind.

There is a nearby camp which has bright lights turned on at night sometimes but that’s not the fault of Safari Adventure.

Amazing

Mr Mohamad is very kind, he waited for us even it was so late. The location is a bit confuse at first, but don’t worry, they will guide you there. The dinner and breakfast also good. The room is very comfortable, plus point, we got the big scenery window of Wadi Rum.

We got a little bit problem with the heater.

The greatest experience in the heart of the desert

We absolutely enjoyed our time staying at this camp. First of all, Mohammad is a great host, who was very attentive and interesting to talk to. He met us at the entrance and rode to the camp, organized the taxi to our hotel and made a great journey- jeep tour in the desert. That was one of the best experiences in my life. So many great places to see in a very comfortable place. I liked that Mohammad sincerely told us which sights worth watching closely and which not. Regarding the camp, the houses are big, warm, with own bathroom with hot water. Everything there was quite good and make the stay at the desert very cozy. And also the "lounge" zone next to bonfire was amazing.

the choice of food wasn't very big but considering that camp is in the middle of the desert that's not a big deal. The dishes were tasty

Wadi Rum Safari Adventure Camp

The camp is in a great location and has a beautiful view of the desert from the room. Lying in bed watching the sun come up was magical. Our host, Mohammed, was amazing. He went out of his way to make our experience memorable. His knowledge of the desert and Bedouin life was fantastic. The food was great and the desert tour with Mohammed was informative and great fun. I recommend this camp to anyone travelling in Jordan. Make sure you ask for Mohammed as your tour guide!

There was nothing we disliked. It is important however for the visitor to remember that you are in the desert. Do not expect a jacuzzi in your room or a pool. The camp is solar powered and food cooked in traditional earth ovens. This makes the experience so much better.

Everything. Mohammad the owner was a fantastic host, we got everything we expected and more. great jeep drive in the desert, very tasty food the Bedouin way, endless cups of Bedouin tea, time with the hosts and the other guests around a fire listening to Mohammad’s stories and chatting with each other Our host went out of his way to make this trip special for encouraging and helping our nervous daughter to do sand boarding and climb up to the rock bridge. These moments will always stay with us

Excellent communication, and great hospitality. The host and team were great. The food was good and traditional. The room was clean and have a great view. The tour was good. My 8 years loved the trip.

Very handy location to Wadi Rum Village and very well appointed camp with good functional rooms, all with great views. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were all fantastic. Great hosts and fellow guests from all parts of the globe. Excellent jeep tour!

Exceeded my expectations by a lot! The best trip I've ever had!!

Everything was beyond perfect.. it has exceeded my expectations by a lot! Mohammed and his brothers made me feel as part of their family. They have been extremely generous in sharing their culture, lifestyle, advices... The room is clean, spacious, and has the best view ever on the Wadi Rum Sahara (getting to see the stars while sleeping is an exceptional out-of-body experience). The food was amazing, everything traditional, local, and very delicious! The energy was very warm, we had tea around the fireplace and danced to traditional songs. The tours are exceptional, I did a Jeep tour by the sunset, a star tour by night, and a camel ride by sunrise. These exceeded my expectations by a lot, truly! Also, Mohammed made sure that I had my ride back to Aqaba on time and with the best and most honest driver I've ever met. I would definitely come back 100000000% when I get the opportunity to visit Jordan again!!

Genuine and kind camp

We mostly booked the place because of the reviews and we were right. We stayed only one night in January. Mohamed and his family were vere kind, friendly and helpful. At the visitor center we were awaited by Mohamed who was already there. He is very genuine and relaxed, we talked about his camp and the wadi rum area. All the tour prices were upfront. We didn't feel any pressure to get anything that we didn't asked for. They gived us good advices. We arrived at 5 PM at the visitor center and he took us directly to see the sunset, we spent at meats half an hour there. The camp is located near some rock formations, rooms have view directly towards the hills and sunset. The rooms are more like individual small housses than tents, so preety solid. They are nicely decorated and clean. Private bathroom inside the room. One wall is a full glass window. In the common area there is a fireplace and space to dance. For dining, another space is located nearby. The dinner was very good, cooked in a traditional fire pit. Food was delicious, rice, veggies and chicken plus several salads. breakfast was also ok, less options. We spent the evening in the common area with the other guests, we were around 15, kids included. We drinked tea and danced traditional bedouin songs. We booked a 4 hours tour, stopped at several locations for photoshooting. The area is very beautiful because of all this rocky hills with very unusual shapes and forms.

Wish we stayed one more night.
