Very good

Breakfast was perfect. Good selection and options. Nothing more to add.

Air condition in the dining area was a little bit too much. Unfortunately the staff in the restaurant in the evening was not always enough. But the service was good.

Exceptional in everything!

Everything - the reception (staff), the room (great view), the look of the hotel and the breakfast. The breakfast was exceptional! Fresh, great variety, great quality and quick replacement of run out things.

If I am staying again in Stavanger, this will definitely be my first choice.

Exceptional breakfast. The USB chargers in the room are more practical for international guests. Having the iron and ironing board in the room is helpful. Really good base for lots of local museums and we we walked over to sverd i fjell which was just 2-3 miles away.

Could have been better if there was a sauna / spa facilties. Bedside tables are incredibly small.

Great hotel!

- the staff was super friendly and profesional. All staff! From the receptionists to the people in the kitchen - great breakfast! Huge selection and open until 11 - the gym had a great view!, Same as the bar - good location

Maybe my expectations were too high...

The breakfast was served (with limitations) from 4,00am.

There is no parking, or even parking bay dedicated to the guests for handling luggage during check-in/check-out. The room was cold and no heater available. The shelves in the room are ridiculously small. The wardrobe is not practical, and a drawer is needed. The floor of the room assigned (12th floor) was having some renovation going, strong smell of paints and chemicals...

The bed and pillows were terrible. I actually fell out of bed one night and took the e mattress with me because the mattress wasn’t secure and very thin.

Great stay in a beutiful classic hotel

Room was beutifull, clean, comfortable with perfect view! Dinner at the restaurant was outstanding! Staff service was excellent!

Perfect hotel for a city vacation!

We felt welcomed from the first moment. Check-in was super easy, and the room was exactly what we booked and expected. The gym is up-to-date and has a spectacular view over the city. TIP: Try out the outstanding cocktails in the Espier Bar on the top floor! (Located next to the Gym with the exact same remarkable view over the city and harbor) We enjoyed our trip to Stavanger and will choose the Clarion Hotel again if we come back.

The parking was not super easy to find due to a road closure during our stay. A more detailed and upfront information how to reach the public parking would have been nice but not a big deal at the end.

Good location

The location of the hotel was very near to the Harbor. The airport transfer bus stops right at the doorstep of the hotel, but for return to airport the bus stop is in front of Radisson Blu Hotel which is about 10mins walk. Breakfast was good as well.

The room does not have air conditioning. As the weather is getting warmer it is hot to sleep in a room with no air conditioning. There was also no fan in the room. Only when we say other guest took a small fan from the reception then we knew that a fan was available.

great stay

the ambience, the location, the staff. there is a beautiful park nearby and of course the sea.

it is uphill. not suitable for people that has heart condition as it will definitely be very tiring to climb the slopes. I choose the room with the sea view. during summer time, it is warm but the hotel staff offered me a dan to keep the room cool.

great comfortable stay in my favorite town in norway

love this hotel. The staff is always extremely helpful and gave me an extra duvet for my arthritic shoulders. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was extremely good. It is just up a hill from the wharf in stavanger so for me it is perfectly situated. Some people may have trouble climbing the hill but taxis are always available. The bus to climb pulpit's rock picked my up right at the front door. This is the place to stay in stavanger.

Nice hotel with a very varied breakfast, right next to the city centre

Very nice hotel, we had the deluxe room, which was very spacious and had a lovely view. The hotel is very close to the city centre and harbour. The breakfast is extremely varied.

The airco could not be switched off, but was ok to sleep. The minibar fridge is not that cold. But this is just nitpicking.

Very enjoyable short break. Good hotel in a great location.

Great location for the harbour and old town. Pleasant reception. Good sized room and very comfortable bed. 5 good nights sleep. Good view from the room. Very good breakfast.

Maybe need a little updating in the rooms. Restaurant choice for dinner a little limited.
