With its romantic cottage-like feel and large private garden patio with comfy chairs and an outside dining area, the Garden Sanctuary promises a serene escape. The large bathroom has an oversized glass shower, a heated floor, local bathroom amenities and a hair dryer, fluffy towels and robes. The room features a snug sitting area, a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and a fireplace. From May 26th 2021 enjoy all the amenities that Hedgerow House B& B has to offer including full breakfast, hot tub and sauna . You have access the Hot Tub and Sauna in our Wellness Pavilion by appointment Massages are available on request .

Great location, walking distance into Ganges. The garden room was cute and comfortable. Owner Michelle was very friendly and made delicious breakfasts. We enjoyed using the hot tub in the evening.

Went for a wedding, very nice and comfortable accommodations! Close to all the venues we needed to go to, we drove but very walkable as well.

Forgot to tell her the hot tub really needs to be cleaned/serviced/emptied. Wouldn't go in that again but everything else was absolutely amazing. Best breakfast I've ever had. Custom to food allergies and everything.

If we could give more than 5 stars. We would. Michelle is delightful, courteous, accommodating, and an incredible chef. Her breakfasts were over the top delicious. The home is beautifully appointed, and very relaxing. A reasonable walk to Ganges Harbor and plenty of off street parking. We plan to return.

We LOVED our stay here at Salt Spring Island. It was such a beautiful little home, very serene and calming. Michelle was such a wonderful host and her breakfasts each morning were the highlight of our trip for sure. There was such amazing care at this little home, and it was just a very restful place.

Had a nice relaxing time here, great location, walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Breakfast is served at 9:00am which is a little bit early for me, but the breakfasts were very tasty. Overall would recommend, and would stay again.

Michelle is a lovely woman. The two breakfasts she served were 5 star. She uses local products and creates a tantalizing plate that satiates every palate.
The garden room provided a romantic ambiance and in nicer weather a private garden patio area that would be lovely for morning coffee, yoga, meditation or reading a book.
The Hot tub and sauna were well received after a long bike ride.
I would recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the clean, comfortable, and quiet getaway. Michelle serves a gourmet breakfast, perfectly sized, prepared and served. She accommodates a variety of dietary needs. The jacuzzi was one of the wee highlights of our stay. Evenings in front of the gas fireplace were a delight for us. Warm bathrobes made our walk to and from the jacuzzi very comfortable. We highly recommend a stay here.

I thought it was a little pricy at first but overall seemed okay. Then we got there and it looked fantastic. We were pretty central to everything we wanted to do. After a long day of fun activities we relaxed in the hot tub and went to sleep. When we woke up Michelle had the most heavenly breakfast waiting for us. Every morning she made these 5 star hotel style catered breakfasts. She had valuable information about the best places to go on the island and she was super kind. What I paid vs. what I got I almost feel like she’s getting the short end of the deal. Highly recommend

The suite was perfect for us. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice linens and towels. Bright. Cute private patio. Ample outside shared space to sit and relax. Breakfasts were incredible - nutritious, varied, lovely presentation. This is a well maintained property. It is gated with ample parking inside the beautifully manicured yard. The home is well "off street" so there is no street noise. The host was pleasant, polite and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

We just can't say enough good things about this B & B. Everything from the greeting and check-in, to the lovely suite with private little outdoor seating area to the delicious breakfasts every morning was fantastic. Michelle is such a thoughtful host. When my husband and I had an early start planned one morning, we were going to miss the seated breakfast so Michelle packed us a lovely to-go breakfast for us to grab from the fridge on our way out that morning. This was our second time staying at Hedgerow and we plan to come back yet again next time we are on SSI. Wonderful wonderful stay!!!

We couldnt have asked for more. Comfortable bed. We slept great! Great shower! Spotless. So great to have a private patio. Michelle was very attentive with great suggestions on places to visit and eat. The breakfasts were above and beyond. Couldn't recommend a better place. Thank-you. Thank-you!

Wonderful little oasis
We loved our two nights stay at this property. It was just perfect for us and would highly recommend anyone looking to stay on Salt Spring Island to book here….you will not be disappointed. The garden suite was very private and just lovely. Michelle was great from check in right until we sadly said goodbye. The breakfast every morning was truly amazing both mornings and we will miss waking up to Michelle’s cooking. An overall wonderful experience!

Very Nice Home with congenial hostess
Our stay in the garden room was most enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious with something different each day. There was no problem reserving the hot tub and sauna for when we wanted it. The shared living space was comfortable and pleasant.
We would highly recommend this location and would return again

The perfect Ganges get away
Peter and Jayne were the perfect hosts and made us feel like we were special guests. This is a great location-walk to whatever you need and enjoy friendly greetings from the locals!
