Zwiedzanie okolic Iraklionu.

Bon hôtel, pratique pour une nuit après un vol.

Bon Hôtel proche de l’aéroport.

Quartier pas très rassurant, surtout la nuit avec une arrivée tardive de l’avion.

Very convenient hotel nearby airport.

Nice hotel, perfect if you arrive late at Heraklion and don’t have time to travel to your final destination. Nice terras near the swimming pool where you can have breakfast. Breakfast buffet is good as well. Cab from airport cost you around €15 as that’s the minimal fare. You can also walk in 20 minutes.

While having breakfast, we could hear the planes leaving airport but was not a big issue as we were there for only one night.

Good modern hotel with pool

The pool was good and the rooms clean and modern. The staff were efficient and polite.

The food choices at the hotel were very basic and boring but there was a great local Greek food takeaway that we walked to.

Good value, clean, very close to the airport.

We stayed here after arriving into Heraklion on a late flight before travelling on the next day. The Sofia Hotel was a perfect little stop off for us. It was walking distance to the car hire at the airport so the location was ideal for what we needed.

The hotel is located on a little side street very close to Heraklion airport so it is definitely a good airport type hotel. There is a pool but I would not recommend it for a longer holiday unless you specifically want to be near the airport.

Parking is a bit small but got offered a parkingspace on their private lot.

Great choice for hotel!

Friendly, helpful staff! Great breakfast! Room was nice. Very close to airport and a little further to old town heraklion - but taxi will take u there for about $7e... or u can walk - nice walk too. We liked the hotel and recommend it - a little away from the "craziness" of old town but close enough to make it a good choice for a stay...

Very satisfied.

Very easy access from the airport to the hotel. Plane landed at 10pm and we had checked in at 10.30

Only a very short stay as we were passing through, so didn't find anything we didn't like

used it three times during my vacation so I think that says it all

the staff comes to the foreground polite helpful polite and efficient only used this hotel during our trip for three individual flight overnights the rooms are clean the breakfast is quite good and the pool was inviting little chilly but then it is the end of October I would recommend this hotel to anyone the planes taking off are a. it noisy but they stop around 10 pm and start after 7 am so really not a problem quick drive from both port 10€ about 7-8 minutes and Airport about 10-15 minutes 15€ with some bartering but we’ll worth it I think

Midrange Airport Hotel, okay for one night, neither exceptionally good or bad

Sofia ist an average hotel close to the airport. It has no highlights, everything is as it should be – but also there is nothing to complain about, which makes it better than most other midrange hotels we encountered on Crete.

Location is close to the airport, which is why we booked it. Neighbourhood is not particularly beautiful and far off the city centre, so we considered pricing a bit too steep. If you are there for Heraklion, and not for an early flight next morning, there are far better and also cheaper options.

Close to airport

Quite old hotel and room, definitely it did not feel like a 3-star level. Some amenities were missing, the shower was leaking a bit. Not recommended for long stays, a bit pricey.

staff are exceptional

arrived at 11.45pm, very tired, hungry and thirsty. the kitchen was closing but staff were fabulous. They produced an amazing meal for us - went out of their way to be helpful. check in was quick. rooms are great for us - one night stop over before onward travelling.

Very good

The staff are absolutely amazing and went out of their way to make us welcome.We arrived around 11pm after our flight had been delayed and they reopened the kitchen for us and we could have a warm meal which was heaven. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower strong and warm . The hotel is a few minutes in a taxi from the airport. The pool looked very inviting but we were only staying overnight, so did not have opportunity to enjoy it. Breakfast had good warm and continental options, also cakes. I am booking this hotel again our return flight and every future trip to Crete!

The only issue issue-if I had to say something- was that the grout between the tiles in the shower could do with a bleach.

Superb

The hotel is close to the airport; I arrived there on foot and felt safe (although I would take a taxi if I arrived at night because some parts do not have sidewalks). I really appreciated that they allowed me to check in a few hours earlier and allowed me to store my luggage afterwards; they are very flexible. The hotel is nice and clean, although my room was next to the street and therefore a bit noisy. I liked that they had a pool, but unfortunately, it opens at 10 and closes at 6, so if you want to do some sightseeing, you cannot really use it.

The short time to use the pool, the room was a bit noisy.

Convenient overnight stay between flight and holiday

- Kind staff - Close to the airport - Close to the hightway so pleasant for a stop over after our flight - Private parking area - Spacious bathroom

- It did not bother us too much but it was a little noisy. Our room was close to the stairs and the elevator and with the marble floors we heard sounds of guests coming and leaving
