Very convenient and good price.\

The rates are cheap but I really only needed one night and had to book for two. The closeness to The Pines and my relatives was a big bonus.

The rooms were bright at night as the blind didn't cover the window. On the first night, all was okay but on the second night there was loud talking and laughing either on the terrace below or next to us. I had to close all the windows and doors which cut down on ventilation and we could still hear noise at 4am.

Nothing special, creepy permanent residents

Lady at front desk was very nice, room was tidy and pleasant

The rooms for visitors are mixed with the permanent residents, many are creepy old men who like to watch what’s going on and walk the balcony’s constantly.. Didn’t feel the safest!

Great place, seems to be a few permanent residents

Check in and out process was very easy, clean room with good facilities in room

Despite being a non smoking hotel there was a man repeatedly sitting at the top of the stairs smoking and cigarette butts in the ground below, smoke drifted into my room if door was open

Stayed for 5 days, super close to everything I wanted to do, and tucked back away from the hustle and busy of the Gold C

Conveniently located behind a shopping centre. The facilities on site were well equipped. Plenty of kitchen necessities provided as well.

The aircon vents were filthy, but really that’s the only dislike.

A very quiet and comfortable room in a well laid-out resort nestled between a scenic lake and The Pines Shopping Centre. A good bus service operates from The Pines to key locations at the southern end of the Gold Coast.

A 2 star hotel at a 4 star price

It was reasonably close to Burleigh Heads and it backed onto a smaller shopping centre. It has front access to a small lake with swans, which is nice.

If I had paid $100 or $120 per night for the room I would have found it very reasonable. Unfortunately I paid $275 which was very expensive given the quality. The springy bed was so bad that every little move caused it to bounce and my wife to wake up and I ended up having to get up and take a pain killer because my lower back cramped up. I slept on the couch the second night, which was more comfortable. Glasses and plates had to be cleaned and put away otherwise cleaning charges could be incurred and the last users of the room didn't clean the glasses well, they were slimy.

We had a lovely 5 days visiting family & a friend while there.

It was close to the airport, handy to the shopping centre for breakfast and nice & quiet. The room was a good size and comfortable.

The shower needed a door on it. It was too small not to have a door and the shower water went all over the floor each time you showered and you would have to squeegee it up before hoping out. We have a glass business and install showers and this one was totally impractical the worst I have ever seen. It should have a door to keep the water off the bathroom floor.

Dirty room, poorly run, we won't be coming back

The location wasn't bad, close to shops and on a quiet street near the water however the beach behind us was quite smelly and we were bitten by sea lice on the beach.

When we arrived the rooms wasn't properly cleaned, beds hadn't been stripped just re-made and the bins were still full. We went to have showers and discovered we weren't given enough towels and when the kids went looking for an extra blanket they found all the spare folded blankets were dirty. The hot water also ran out after the first 2 showers so it wasnt a suitable sized hot water system for the amount of people (we are a family of 5 amd my son had his friend with us). We found the whole experience very disappointing and the hotel very poorly run. We would not go back or recommend this property.
