Don't stay here if you like to sleep

Friendly staff

Don't stay here if you value a good nights sleep. We stayed here for 3 nights in Lotus (private pool villa), and 2 of those nights we could not sleep because of broken AC and noise. The first night, the AC in the villa was barely doing anything so the room was really hot. This together with the lack of sound isolation of the villas made it impossible to sleep once the mosque started with the prayers at 5 AM and shortly after that a nearby rooster. The staff will tell you this is a common problem for all the places in the area, but this is not true because we have stayed at other places in central kuta and have not been bothered by the prayers because they have had properly sound isolated rooms. After the first night we got moved to another villa where the AC was better, so only having to deal with the prayers we could actually sleep most of the night. The third day, we discovered the fan outside was broken so we could not really use the outdoor area table - they fixed that. Then the fridge (super noisy and old) started leaking dirty water onto the floor - they replaced it with another old fridge. The third night the AC completely shut off in the middle of the night, I think around 3-4 AM and was off for several hours. The room was boiling hot and we only slept for 2 hours that night. You can pay less for other hotels nearby which are newer.

Superb

The comfortable villas and the poolside was extremly relaxing for guests

The included breakfast was tasty but also manageable amount. It also would be good to make it more clear for guests that the yoga sessions which are taking place in the resorts property are not included

Looking forward to come back one day

Beautiful venue, with an amazing garden with koi, chicken and cute turtles. The stuff was really friendly and helpful.

Superb

The resort itself was beautiful and the staff super friendly.

The only thing that was a bit of a downer was the loud prayers from about 3 different mosques in the area with the first one before 6am. But soon got used to it.

A rare must do experinace and stay in lombok. Kids and the entire family will enjoy this magical place

Loved absolutely everything about this property! If you are wanting to stay in lombok with kids this is 100% must! Reasonable price with such a great experience, giant gold fish & tortoises roaming around freely as you walk in it’s truly a magical place. Love the villas and the options to stay. We had a king and single bed! The pool is beautiful with one end of the pool sand. The owner is so lovely and feeds his fish everyday you can tell he takes pride and care of this rare gem of a place. The staff are super friendly and soo accommodating. The beds are comfy & the home made granola for breakfast is delicious! It’s a bonus they a beautiful yoga shala there and a great massage service! Everything you need and more! One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed wish we stayed longer! And we will 100% be back.

Fabulous pool and grounds. Friendly staff.

The grounds and the pool are a tropical paradise. One of the most beautiful places we have stayed anywhere in the world. Totally recommend staying here

Minor issues that could have made the stay even better: The taxi didn't turn up to collect us from the airport. The toilet didn't always flush. The soap pump was broken. A member of staff taking breaks on sun loungers and sleeping by pool.

The most amazing gardens and pool area with so much attention in the grounds. Beautiful big clean room Staff , breakfast , yoga excellent. Amazing inside/ outside bathroom . Bed and pillows best ever. Thankyou don’t want to leave 😊 Can’t forget the fish and Tortoises !!!!

Wonderful and relaxed hotel with magnificent pool and garden

we had a wonderful stay. The pool and garden are super well maintained and very nice. Swimming in the pool when a turtle walks by was a new experience for us. Breakfast is very nice and the staff is super friendly. They also arrange transport without overcharging as many other hotels do. A big recommendation!!

Perfect place to slow down and explore the Kura area.

Jivana is such a wonderful place to relax for a few days. They habe a magical garden, that offers kids so much to explore. The pool is really pretty, was never crowded and has a great, shallow area for kids. The staff was extraordinary friendly all the time. we enjoyed our stay so much!

The only down point are mosquitoes that come out at night. But with mosquito repellent and the provided mosquito nets over the bed, all was good and we didn’t get any bites.

Beutifully desgined resort with great potetntial but the mosquito problem is a deal breaker

Beautifully designed property with a turtle farm. Nice feel and vibe. Great location yet quiet and peaceful.

They have a massive mosquito problem. I live in Malaysia and have travelled through SEA, but have never experienced such a mosquito plague before. That vacation could quickly turn into a nightmare, especially when travelling with kids. This is something the resort management must address. Also, we have experienced inconsistency during breakfast, where it was okay on one day to order more than 1 coffee and on the other day, we had to pay for an additional cup of coffee. Either SOPs have changed, or staff is not aligned on the SOPs.

beautiful oasis in the middle of Kuta, Lombok. roaming tortoise and Guinea fowl in the carefully nurtured grounds, amid koi ponds and running water - one can only relax and enjoy yourself. breakfast is absolutely amazing as is the service. excellent massages too. do yourself a favour and come stay a while…

not their fault but the mozzies at night are a pain. thoughtfully provided mozzie coils for the outside rainforest feel bathroom is a welcomed touch.

Lovely stay in a beautiful hotel

Hotel set in beautiful well kept gardens with tortoises and guinea fowl roaming freely and fish in the ponds. The swimming pool is large with a section for children with sand. We rented a villa with private pool. The villa was large with lounge area and a small pool which was lovely to refresh in during the heat of the day. Villa without pools were in the gardens with ponds in front of them. Food was delicious. If you are travelling to Kuta in Lombok I would recommend this hotel.

Exceptional

Every morning, the breakfast was delicious, and the food from the a la carte menu was also excellent. The owner, the feeding of the koi and turtles, the spa, the pool, everything was fantastic for our daughter. It's an incredible location, a true treasure for Lombok!

We give the property a 10, but there are some things that are out of the owner's control: the street is not properly lit at night, neighbors' dogs on the street, and, of course, the praying at 4 a.m. and all day on speaker... but after day 4, we were immune:)

Spectacular, Brilliant, Amazing

Even when the photos are amazing, the place is much better in reality. It is beautiful, surrounded by nature, attended by joyful people that is always willing to help (Steve, Ana, Maya, Iwan) and the food seem to be from a Michelin-starred restaurant. The pool is magnificent and the location is pretty good.

Loved it

Loved watching all the animals in the gardens when we were eating breakfast. Pool is so nice. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Rooms were so spacious and clean. Lombok is an amazing place and the location in Kuta was so central to everything. Will definitely come back!

The animals :) But most importantly- professional , very helpful and warm-hearted staff!! The cottages are spacious and clean. We would definitely come back and also recommend this place.

everything. it’s got a beautiful energy. the tortoises are so cool. people are lovely. the massages are amazing and so cheap.

the food at the restaurant wasn’t good - my only suggestion in an otherwise great hotel.
