I liked the fact that this resort was located directly opposite a huge shopping mall, 15 mins from the airport( IGU) ,15 mins from the boarder of Argentina, about 25 mins to the entrance of the iguazu national park where the iguazu fall is located and two minutes walk to a taxi stand.
Everything about the location of this resort was perfect.
I also like that the resort itself was very neat! My room, which was situated in the new grey building, was amazing.! I was on the fifth floor room 590. I had the view of the pools, the children's water slides, the wave pool, the zip liner, and the beautiful view of the forest as well. There is a lookout point at the end of the corridor ,which is a glass partition, and that's where my room was located.
Very friendly staff. I also liked the fact that the guests at this resort had access to the water park next door. There was also a zipliner on property, which cost like R70 since it was owned and operated by a company not associated with the resort
The other thing that I liked about the resort ,was that , you had a choice to eat three meals at the resort at a small cost of R100 per person for lunch and dinner, had to pay for all sodas and wines, but breakfast was free.
The pools were also heated up and stayed open until 8 pm. The children water area also stayed open late, but the wave pool closed at 5pm.
There was also one swim up bar at the main pool ( have to pay for drinks )and another bar located near the pool, but it is not a swim up bar.( you also pay for drinks).
At the time I stayed there, the resort was very quiet! Both during the day and at night. I heard no loud music or talking etc. There were not many children there either. I stayed there the last week in May, and that may have been the reason why it was very quiet.
There were also a lot of sitting areas with chairs and umbrellas around the pool areas. The view of the lush green forest just added Xtra beauty to the resort.
I didn't like the fact that 99% of the staff couldn't communicate in English. Therefore, I had to use my phone to Google translate everything. Even when you found one staff member who spoke English, it was still a struggle. I must, however, admit that it was the issue everywhere else and not just the resort.
I didn't like the food( that's a personal opinion) . The food was the same menu morning, noon, and night. Very limited variety.
I did eat at the mall's food court a few times .
I wouldn't recommend that you take all inclusive plan since you can go out to eat for maybe even less than R100 per person.
Another thing I didn't like was that you couldn't take the towels to the water park. I had to purchase my towel to go to the water park.

Convenient and good value.
Little charm, at times very noisy. Better suited for families with kids than individual travelers.

Many options for snack / lunch / dinner. Great breakfast. Many spaces to live the summer. Some interesting and unique attractions. Personnel very kind and helpful.
Price too high for basic accomodations and optional services. Charged for essentials, like plug adapter, pools' towels. Despite I paid for 3 guest, they gave me only two passes. The resort is beautiful and big, but it lacks good signage, thus in your first day you constantly need to ask for directions. Poor WiFi service. Poor virtual assistant aid. There isn't a deep pool for adults.

The resort is absolutely fantastic. It's amazing for the kids even when it's cloudy and not that hot weather. The water is so warm and we all had a amazing time together.
I think the food is a bit overpriced. We needed to pay per person for a bbq and the quality of the meat wasn't great, and in the bar area the sharing plates portions were quite small for our expectations.

Rooms are clean and fresh, personal very attentive and kind, really service minded and well trained.
Pools are just amazing with their clean thermal waters and form variations.
Breakfast was generous, with good variation and some interesting surprises from South Brazil.
Personal at breakfast room was kind but too fast on taking out our scrap from the table. One day I had some cheese bread beside my coffee cup, and when I looked to the side for one second, the waiter had already taken it away. That was a bit annoying.
I would also like to share a bad experience that we had with a person who invited us to some kind of presentation of MyMabu project. I would be contacted by her on the time to go and see some video, but it did not happen once she wrote my number wrong - which we checked up together when we met again someday after. Meanwhile, I gave it up and kept on enjoying my stay in the hotel, because me as a customer have zero obligation to anything. But it was proven that she doesn't share this same thinking. One day she met me again and suggested that I gave her a wrong number, which I proved wrong directly. She also suggested, in a very passive-aggressive way, that I was ignoring her when we casually met in the hotel, which for me is a unacceptable behavior with a client. Then, during the days left at the hotel, every time she met us she called me by my nickname in a very ironic way, inviting my again and again to go and see her proposal, even though I had already said to her, when we first met again, that I was not interested anymore. She clearly intended to annoy me with this fake intimacy and repeating invitations. I was one inch to call her superior to make her stop making fun of me, but, in order not to destroy my experience at Mabu with my family, I only waved "no" at her so to answer her inviations. I really enjoyed my stay at Mabu, but this event made it way less pleasurable. My advice to MyMabu is to change this kind of intrusive and zero professional approach because it causes the exact opposite effect.
