a little gem of a hotel central to everything you need in Weymouth.

loved the location, the hotel was central to everywhere harbour, town, amusements and beach, rooms were clean and tidy and the staff super welcoming, it was a little gem of a place. children loved the breakfast and thought it was the best. loved our stay here and looking forward to coming again.

nothing I didn’t like, don’t be put off by the exterior of the building, at first glance it looks very old fashioned and outdated but inside it’s decorated well and tidy.

Disappointing, lack of atmosphere and some staff members unhelpful

doorway to shower about 5 foot 6inches and my husband is 6 foot, an accident waiting to happen! 3 flights of stairs to room. no mirror in room or full length wardrobe. limited head room on top floor. basic furnishing.

Suited us nicely for our one night stay

Convenient location for what we wanted - Weymouth Pavilion. Room was clean and sufficient for our needs. Continental breakfast good value for money.

Maybe a bit more space to put things especially in the bathroom but no great problem for a one night stay. The bar to be open a little later.

Amazing Family Holiday

We absolutely loved the location when we stayed at the Alexandra hotel . We had the beach and arcades right outside the hotel which is so much better for a family when kids love the beach and arcades so much . The hotel was superb too , the staff were very polite , you had board games you could play and books to read if the weather was not great or if you wanted to wind down before going to bed . There is a bar on site and also able to have pizzas that the hotel make and they also offer hot drinks my son loved the hot chocolates when we stayed . Our room size was perfect and the view too . There was soo many positives to our stay and we would happily come stay again :)

There was not anything that we did not like . The only thing i would comment on is that there was a slight condensation issue in our room . If you was in the shower for too long it caused damp air in the room so meant having windows open at night time to be able to get rid of condensation trapped in the room . Windows i think were single glazed in our room and let a slight draft in .

Lovely hotel

Brilliant location.Clean and warm.Really lovely staff too.

Slightly dated and worn but not enough to detract from good experience.Also no cooked breskfast option.

Great hotel that exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed the location, sea view room and very helpful staff.

Could have booked direct for car park use and no permits available. Paid car park only a short walk away though.

Lovely stay in a great location. Hotel was clean, affordable, and staff were very professional.

Location was fabulous. Exactly where we wanted to be, close to all the local amenities. Walking distance to town centre, town centre and the beach was just across the road

We would of liked a parking space but know that parking is at a premium in this area.

Great location and friendly members of staff when checking in and out. Family room was a lovely size with soft, comfortable beds.

I was a little put off by the message saying parking spaces are reserved for direct bookings only. This was a bit disappointing to read and made me worry we wouldn't receive as good service because of booking through here. Very little to complain about though; it is a lovely hotel. To be picky the landing light came on 6 times between 4-4.45am and our room was right next to the stairwell so it did light up the room a bit each time, and the curtains were pretty but a bit thin but tiny comments really, it was a great place to stay.
