A great location for a quiet getaway
An excellent evening meal and breakfast served by very friendly people. The location is stunning in a quiet and unspoiled quarter of rural Dorset.

A lovely hotel. Wish we had stayed longer.
Location. New local owners took over in January and the decor is very tasteful. Rooms in the annex were ideal and good value. Dinner and breakfast ( extra cost) were excellent.
Nothing.

Beautiful country pub in a great location
We had a great little 2 night stay at Winyard's Gap Inn. A great location, fabulous views, good accommodation and food. Had everything we needed. Very comfortable.
The studio was a little tired, bath panel needs to be refitted, kitchen cupboards were a little loose, and could have provided better utensils.

Excellent staff, lovely rooms
The staff were excellent. Really responsive and accommodating when I asked about an early check in as we were attending a lunch event in the Inn. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were comfy and clean and the food was fabulous.

Left feeling slightly disappointed due to the noise of the road and patrons of the pub on a Saturday night.
Well equipped bedroom. Nice views. Breakfast was good. Helpful staff.
Next to a noisy road. This isn’t a quiet location. Friday and saturday evening is a place where local youths gather and the noise was bad. Complained the next day but nothing came of it.

Location, room, parking and staff were good, but have given a lower rating due to loud music in bar.
Room was spacious and away from the bar. Dog friendly. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was good. Plenty of parking.
Menu was unclear about Gluten Free options. The bar had loud music a lot of the time which made it difficult to talk and relax. Due to the loud music not being to our taste we ate elsewhere a couple of nights.
