About this condo rental

Nestled in Avalon, this lovely condo for $517 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our Vacation Condo is a few minutes from town, shopping, and the beach. It is a spacious 900 square foot unit which has a large complete kitchen, balcony with a barbecue, queen sized bed, queen sized sofa bed, dining area, and two TV's. You will have use of the Jacuzzi which holds 10 people and the large pool. Our unit is located above the garden area and the Condos are nicely landscaped and maintained. To make things even better you will have full time use of our street licensed golf cart, your car in Avalon. We are located next to the Wrigley Road and adjacent to the Golf Course and Civic Center. What's Close: Near our unit is the Golf Course and a popular restaurant called the Sand Trap. This local eatery is famous for its Fish Tacos, beer, and breakfast specials. You can hike up Wrigley Road for a view of the mansion and the entire bay. Wrigley road is less than 100 feet away from our Condo and makes for a great hike with spectacular views as you peer over the cliff and view the bay, ocean and town of Avalon. At the Condo: While at the Condo you can treat yourself to a swim, relax in the jacuzzi, barbecue on the balcony, and watch cable tv in the bedroom or in the living room. If you choose, you can make a gourmet meal in the kitchen which has all the appliances, dishware and utensils. If you like dining outside, you are in luck since on the balcony is an outside dining table and chairs. What to do on the Island: Catalina offers golf, fishing, diving, snorkeling, and most water sports. You can go on the famous glass bottom boats, in a submarine, or para-sail high over the ocean. There is bike riding, hiking, tours on land and on boats. The island also offers night life with many great restaurants night clubs and dancing. The famous Casino offers tours a museum and a Cafe on the water. Catalina has something for everyone! **NOTE: Pool is temporarily closed for repairs until further notice, sorry for the inconvenience (August,2023)**

This is the second time that we had stay at this property, very happy and satisfied although the condo we stayed at is under some renovation it was still very cozy and comfortable. Quiet and we always felt very safe. It's located walking distance to a lot of different points of interest and of course having the golf cart available was a plus. Can't wait till we go back again but, hopefully by then the pool and jacuzzy facilities will be available.

Overall a clean place in a good location. Would like to have seen a few more amenities like WiFi and SmartTV. But for a couple of night in Catalina, perfect.

The golf cart was filthy & should have had the trash throw out & cleaned. It looked liked it had sat outside for at least six months without be touched or one piece of trash being thrown out. I know how valuable having a golf cart is but its condition was really unacceptable. I would have even paid to have someone clean it. mr hunt was very enjoyable to work with & was accommodating. I love the island. We have been going tp Catalina for over ten years for the 4th of July as a family tradition with my grandchildren.

This place is perfect for a couple or small family. This was our first time staying at this place, but 2nd at this Condo Association. It is a nice place to stay and close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle, but far enough to get a nice quiet sleep.

Mr. Hunt is a very nice man. Loved the property and Mr. Hunt's attitude. The ONLY drawback to the experience was that the included golf cart was parked 1/4 mile away. Other than that? I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in Avalon and have a golf cart to use for the duration of their stay. Five Stars from me. Chris

I was on the island while the Catalina Wine Mixer was going on. The place is great where we stayed because it was away from the big crowds of people. It was very peaceful. The place itself was cozy and well kept. With all the amenities I would need. I would definitely recommend this place! The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Just like they posted. Having the use of the golf cart to get around Avalon really was nice. I have been to Avalon several times in the past and renting a golf cart can be a real pain.The local gentleman that helps manage the place is very helpful and pleasant

Save your money. This condo needs a SERIOUS makeover and upgrades. It is straight from the 1960's and needs a remodel. There is NO AC, which is unbearable during the hot, humid summer months. 2 fans were placed in either room which did little but blow the warm air around. The whole place gave me an unclean feeling. We have been visiting Catalina for almost 8 years & this was the worst vrbo we've ever stayed in. At almost $400/night with service fees/tax/cleaning, stay in a descent place on Catalina Island. Trust me.

This was a nice cozy condo for my family of four. It had everything we needed and wanted. The golf cart, pool and jacuzzi were a must have that really made our stay awesome.The only reason I gave 4 stars was because of the lack of tv which the owners kindly refunded money back to compensate for it. Apparently there was some issue with the cable on the island. Will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!
