The best place to stay on Ithaca.

I liked everything about this property. The location overlooking Vathy was breathtaking. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious.

Just Perfect

This hotel was so characterful and we were made to feel so welcome! Our delightful room was off the little back street and was self contained felt like our own little house! It was named fairytale and it really was! We loved it

Wonderful, characterful gem

Wonderful spot, beautifully and characterfully decorated. Lovely service. They even helped me order dinner in the evening to be delivered and eat by the pool!

I came early in the season before they had the full breakfast available and because I had a small cheaper room I didn’t have a full view- but that’s fair enough!

Lovely, welcoming hotel in a beautiful location.

it’s a very interesting building , beautifully decorated and spotlessly maintained. The room we had was very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and the pool was perfect! All the staff were very welcoming. The location is great, there are lovely views of the harbour and surrounding hills and it is a short walk to the bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend Perantzada Hotel and hope to stay there again.

a gem in Vathy, Ithaca.

great central location with a lovely view of the harbour, fantasic en suite room with balcony overlooking the harbour, nice breakfast in the breakfast room overlooking the swimming pool and harbour, highly recommended.

all good except the shower which kept turning to boiling hot water every so often whatever temperature it was set to, definitely should be checked as could scald someone.

Excellent choice for an Ithaca stay.

I had a delightful stay at the Perantzada. I miss it, especially the perfectly wonderful staff, Katerina, Haris, Ioanna, always smiling, friendly and willing to help in any way they could. The breakfasts were copious, well-prepared and worthy of note. The rooms are kept spotless. What an excellent place to spend a week on beautiful Ithaca! I am looking forward to my next visit!!

Amazing!

Location was perfect, 1 minute from the front. Breakfast was amazing. Chilling by the pool was beautiful. The room was fresh airy , had a balcony and a really comfortable bed. Katrina was super helpful and lovely!

Beautiful hotel in beautiful Vathi

Gorgeous view of Vathi, great location, great breakfast, sweetest proprietor, very comfortable mattress. A fun, arty designed hotel.

As others mentioned, the room was small but more difficult was the lack of places to put things. Balcony was wonderful, however!

Exceptional

Everything! Service is fantastic. The views are to die for.. It is close to all key places in Vathi, the port, taxis, restaurants. 9/10 min cab ride from the most beautiful beaches you would ever see. The breakfast is legendary. Couldn't have stayed in a better place.

That I only stayed 4 days. My bad. The hotel and location are worth staying from a week+

Relaxing and well looked after.

My partner and I had a great four night stay here, the hotel is well designed and located is walking distance to everything in Vathy. The staff are wonderful and the breakfast superb.

Fabulous. Highly recommend Sarakinikos Bay beach - 10 minute drive from hotel, MAGNIFICENT PARADISE!

Magnificent, vibrant hotel filled with stunning, unique artistic flair. Excellent location + beautiful view. 2 minute walk to harbour restaurants + supermarket. Outstanding breakfast. Antonio + staff were EXCEPTIONAL - warm, friendly, genuinely welcoming and committed to giving us the absolute best stay and experience of Ithaca island.

Room was extremely comfortable but we found the size too small. Fine for a quick stay, but would feel cramped if staying more than 3 nights in our particular room. Depends on how much luggage you are traveling with I guess!

Utterly charming - we will return

Beautifully kept property in a perfect location. The staff were delightful. Thoughtful little extras like glasses of iced water and ice creams served by the pool without being asked for. Lovely breakfasts.

Lovely quirky hotel full of charm with views to die for.

Fabulous location in the centre of Vathy, quirky hotel with small pool and stunning views across the harbour. Delicious breakfast and great poolside bar service. Amazing view from our 2nd floor room and large terrace. Comfy bed and Nespresso machine for morning coffee

A little more space around the bed would have been nice. Only room for one bedside table, it’s nice to have somewhere to keep your book, phone etc. no kettle in the room, would have liked to make a cup of tea as there was a very efficient fridge for milk .

Really enjoyed our stay. Vathi is a beautiful place.

Breakfast was very good. The view was spectacular and the pool was lovely.

There was no lift. 72 steps up to our room . My husband has medical problems and found the steps very difficult. The stair design in the room was also difficult to ascend and descend especially in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. There are 3 rooms on this level and younger visitors would be fine. I feel this should be mentioned in the information. The bedside tables were not very practical. The husband and wife organise the breakfast themselves so no extra help to carry cases done the 72 steps. They did carry them up .

Perantza Art hotel

Views.Towelling robes and slippers were a nice touch. Breakfast was exceptional with amazing service. The location was bang on with easy access to beaches via taxi. Our hosts were simply lovely. The art spread around the hotel forums, staircases etc was quirky and very interesting.

Our room was a bit small, but the balcony and view more than made up for it. Unfortunately there was no tea making facilities in our room(plenty of coffee)

Exceptional

The personnel of the hotel, so warm and always available people. They treat us like kings. Always with a smile serving their delicious homemade breakfast goodies They are even able to read your mind, you will love the little ice cream at the pool in the middle of a hot day!

Stay at Perantzada

The location and the view were fantastic. The breakfast was also good. We really appreciated the effort that the staff put in to go above and beyond to help us feel comfortable - whether that was a welcome drink, or a coffee when we missed breakfast, they couldn’t have been more attentive and kind.

The room was very small so we lived out of our suitcases but we made it work.

Exceptional

Very well located. The port of Vathi is very nice, some good restaurants very close from the hotel. The hotel is very nice, well decorated, nice pool with view on the sunset. Very quiet too. Perfect for relaxing. And ithaki is a lovely island to visit!

The room and bathroom are not very spacious when you travel with a lot of stuff ;-) Maybe too much furniture but a very large terrace!
