I take groups of friends to Morelia every few years. I always stay at Los Juaninos. It is elegant. Having Breakfast in the terrace restaurant is a great way to start a day. The location right on the the main square is convenient. The rooms are beautifully decorated with period furniture. There is a quick modern elevator but I usually take the stone stairs as I love feeling the indentations in the steps of thousands of people using the stairway through the years.
Internet access is spotty because it is an old building with very thick walls. They are aware that it is a problem but there is little they can do about it. Reception is better outside the rooms, and in the downstairs lobby.

The location was great! The service and staff were awesome!! The facilities are a piece of history and beautiful architecture!!
Need a couple more outlets in the room to charge your phones.

The property is in a great location! In front of the cathedral and close to nearby restaurants. The restaurant of the hotel offers amazing selections and the food is delicious!!

the room we stayed in was 114 and I personally liked it bc it had just about everything we needed for our stay
it would be nice if they had a microwave inside the rooms.

beautiful old colonial building in a great location. super clean. great service.
the rooms were a little cold. there was also a lot of noise from the square and local pubs late into the night

Needs a refresh. Dated fixtures and furnishings (independent of historical aspects… plumbing, bath tile, hotel furniture)

Location
The water from shower and toilet was dirty. It was brown/yellow. I informed the staff and nothing was done or I was updated with. The shower tub was dated and felt like a 2 stat hotel. The curtain was dirty with mold. My family and I felt it was very unsanitary. I would never stay here AGAIN! Unforgivable I did not take pics.
