location was excellent, lovely staff and atmosphere

Location was great, walking distance to beach. Good selection of food at breakfast. We stayed in the villas and not the main hotel, quiet and modern.

Staff where not helpful. Giving incorrect advice about transport options and not advising us properly about shuttle bus, taxi and public bus options. Unfortunately this caused a lot of stress for making plans for the airport before leaving, Gabriella gave incorrect information about buses and did not attempt to help with taxi info, just saying that they were unavailable and advising of 3 bus changes to get to the airport (when infact there was a more direct route). In the end we were lucky to speak to Mia, who was able to arrange a taxi for us to the airport. Staff require more training as it was always hit and miss. We had issues with the shower- either burning hot or stone cold. We asked for this to be looked at 3 times, but this was not fixed during our 5 day stay unfortunately. For the price we would have expected better customer service and facilities.

Great location close to the beach

The gym had little, quite old and torned out equiptment.

Actually the Villa itself is closed now and we got a room in the Universal Hotel Marqués nearby, which was also quite good (although couldn´t compare with the Villa), but all the facilities are anyway in this hotel. Breakfast is really good with a lot of dishes to choose from. Covid tests can be done in the hotel if requiews (upon pre-order).

Hotel has only a few parking slots (paid extra). If you come by car, it might be hard to find a free place near the hotel, although you can always park in 5-10 min walking distance.

The hotel was what we expected, clean and comfortable. The food was good apart from the tea and coffee. The staff were helpful and the entertainment good.

I have never in my life been asked to pay for pool side sun beds. I felt this was a rip off and also when we asked for parking for the area, we were told it was fully booked. But the car park was virtually empty which was rather annoying having to drag our suitcases up a hill a fair distance. Fast Wifi is also an extra cost - so be warned. The beach could be cleaner too.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. We stayed half-board included, both breakfast and dinner were great with lots of sorts to choose from. The hotel was right next to a small and clean beach and walking distance to the famous Es Trenc beach.
