It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

everything. what a wonderful place, with incredible ambiance, the kindest and most helpful and thoughtful staff, incredible food and a special location in the farms of the West Bank. truly special.
we didn’t have air conditioning for a day which was tough in august but still well worth roughing it out to stay there. they made an incredible effort to fix it culminating in even buying a new unit and we were super grateful.

Food was good, hotel is right on the edge of the desert and is a nice, quiet and small hotel it was perfect for our group of nine.
Located on the outskirts of town, it wasn't close to much in the way of convenience stores but that was easily overcome. No real complaints here.

Abdul was a great host! Good food. Nice advice. Happy to help whenever needed. Level of English satisfying. AC in the room was working. Hot water in the bathroom...not always (but does it matter when it's that hot?). I'd recommend it when the weather is not too hot - in superwarm weather not sure this place is fresh enough for most "Westerners".
There was only 1 room with AC, so when you book be sure to get that one.
The bathroom can always use improvement.
The location is great with a beautiful view on the mountains, but you're 40 minutes driving (minimum) from center Luxor.

Very good and cozy hotel. Excellent homemade delicious dinners, as well as national tea drinks.
Perhaps the fabulous air canopies over the beds are a bit dusty and should be freshened up.

Beautiful building and welcoming, friendly staff. Great roof top.
It’s a little bit out of town but that is also its charm as it is peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing place, on the other side of noisy Luxor! Our favourite hotel, we change 5 during our trip! Very close to King and Queens Valley, Hatshepsut Temple. They have garden and some domestic animals. Breakfasts, lunch and dinner are delicious, cooked by master chef Abdull, It's a hotel owned by a family , so I felt like home!) Rooms are big and very cosy, If u need to go to Luxor center, 10 min taxi and u are next to the 5 pounds ferry, who will bring you close to Luxor Temple. We will definitely choose this hotel next time I'll be back in Luxor. They offer Hotairballon trip for good price and to other places if you want! Thanks again for everything Abdul, Taha, Mohammeds and Mahmoods)!

the man who works there and prepares breakfast is the nicest. rooms are big. it’s very quiet.
I was a bit disappointed.
Wi-Fi is so slow it barely works, bathrooms are small and uncomfortable, bedsheets are way too small for the bed, duvets have no duvet covers, food in the hotel is overpriced, I booked a room with AC, balcony and view to the temple and got none of these

The breakfast was good and simple. Eggs, bread, marmelade, juice, coffee etc. The dining area outside was amazing, very traditional and he host was so welcoming and sweet. He made sure everything was okay all the time.
I don't have any complains. The hotel is amazing, very pretty design though its a bit far from the city.

The hotel is very well located in the serene countryside and the personnel is very welcoming, notably Muhammad. The hotel has a lot of charm as it is in the traditional Luxor style. What a view from the rooftop !

very rustic hotel, it’s like going back in time in a good way. Very Egyptian in feel but I felt I was not given as much attention as the group of six females that were staying.
property is not directly located next to madinet habu as stated it is in fact a fifteen minute walk away. Position was one of the main factors I chose this hotel. had a couple of lovely meals but on one occasion the chicken deserved a better fate.

The hotel is very convenient to visiting Luxor, it is in great location on a quiet street. It is on the West bank of the Nile, very close to the main attractions, but East bank is also accessible easily by the ferry. Our room was very comfortable, staff very friendly and we had amazing food both for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend.

The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm and attentive. the food was absolutely delicious and all prepared at home. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the space was in a rural area amongst cabbage farms and green fields. They have a nice terrace with sweeping views of the fields, mountains behind the Valley of the Kings and around the corner of the Habu temple and very close to the Colossus of Menon.

Calm, quiet, rural-like location at the edge of town. All west bank sites are easily accessible. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Great views from rooftop patio.

Extra large rooms in a small hotel that has an old Egypt feel. Beds and bedding are wonderful. The garden is a wonderful place to relax, read, and enjoy the delicious meals served. Abdu and staff provide excellent, friendly hospitality.

Peaceful setting on the West Bank of Luxor. Rooms are large and well furnished with comfortable beds, fine bedding, desk, and a sitting area. The hotel is decorated with interesting Egyptian antiques and the outside garden was a wonderful place to relax and eat our meals which were delicious. Most of all, we enjoyed the hospitality and kindness of Abdu and his family. We’ll be back!

Their generosity of time while also being helpful when needed and just letting me do my own thin. great food. I asked for them to take me some more cultural places - markets etc and they went out of their way to make my stay individualised.

The attention we received from our hosts was amazing. Thank you to Abdul especially for taking such wonderful care of us at the hotel and to Mahmoud (the owner) who also arranged all of our tours and made them so perfect. Mahmoud really knows his stuff and was really interesting to listen to. He showed us some amazing places and even arranged tours for us in Aswan and Abu Sembal also. He's a great host and I can recommend his hotel and services to visitors to Luxor and Aswan.

Clean and nice. Good service and good breakfast.
Location was a little further away than we had expected so you'll need to arrange a driver in advance if you want to visit stuff.

The best hotel we had in Egypt!
The staff was amazing and very flexible. Abdelrady made wonderful meals for us! Very friendly and welcoming family. If you don't have anything planned yet, they can help you book your tours. If you need a taxi, one of the brothers is a taxi driver with an amazing old Peugeot and a big smile.
The rooms were very clean and spacious. Beds were amazing. I loved the luxurious down blanket. The rooms are decorated with great taste!
The authentic architecture is stunning and the tranquility of the place is refreshing. All you hear is birds chirping and the occasional local who passes by.
The location is perfect for visiting the West bank and also for a hot air balloon ride. You can sleep longer than people who stay on the East bank and you get dropped off first afterwards. We were welcomed back with a delicious breakfast on the roof top terrace that included delicious pancakes, molasses and candied oranges.
The owners made sure we could rent a bike around sunset which was one of our most favourite experiences in Luxor. We started in the direction of Valley of the Artisans, passed Medinet Habu and the colossi and went through the beautiful farm lands. We rode by the hotel again to end with a beautiful sunset over the Valley at the end of the street.
Cannot recommend enough!
Thank you so much!!

I mean we were on the road for 8 days and the only place we considered home is Nour El Balad. Abdulrady, Mahmoud, and Galal are family now, we don't consider them services providers, everyone loved them and became friends with them. We don't need to say that we will be back, because everyone goes back to their home at a certain moment. Rady is a worldclass cook.
That our vacation was over and we couldn't stay one extra month

Heating and hot water system needs updating for winter travellers , rooms need more attention for dust and bird droppings in outside areas , but would stay there again
