Einfach gut.

Fantastisches Apartment mitten in Kreins. Super schön eingerichtet. Tolle Küche und Bad mit separater Toilette. Fahrräder standen trocken in einer Garage im Hof.

A spcious apartment with a nicely equipped kitchen, isolation could be better.

Spacious apartment. Nicely equipped kitchen. Central location. Didn't hear noise from the street. Big and modern shower,

I heard my neighbors talking and laughing through the bedroom wall at night. The bedroom didn't have an airconditioner so we had to use the one in the living room on max power while leaving bedroom door open. I didn't find a broom and a cloth for cleaning. Glass doors in the bathroom were not ideal for toddlers.

We enjoyed our stay in Krems as it is a lovely town and nice to visit

The apartment is very well situated for access from the train station and to wander around the town. Also to visit neighbouring towns and bike along the Wachau Valley which we enjoyed doing. The apartment is well positioned in a small square and with immediate access to restaurants and bars. The apartment was large and comfortable. There are some quaint streets and the Hofbrauam Steinertor restaurant is very good if you want a typical Austrian meal and good beer. Some nice touches in the room such as coffee machine, toiletries, air conditioning.

The apartment could be very good however the communication process with Smile apartments and the check in process was poor. We had numerous requests to pay outstanding invoices in the weeks leading up to our reservation even though it clearly stated on Booking.com that payment was on arrival. When advising Smile apartments of this, they just ignored our messsages (both written and by telephone) and kept sending demands - we were a little worried that we wouldn't actually have any accommodation on arrival. The key codes we were provided with didn't work and we had to ring someone to assist as there was on one in the office even though it was supposed to be open. The room needed some redecoration as the walls were very dirty and battered and skirting boards were not fixed on properly.

Not recommended. Poor booking system and payment records.

The property was clean, spacious, and bikes had storage

First, they couldn’t find our booking, which was weird. They upgraded us at no cost, but days and even months after, they attest that we never paid them. Very poor coordination of bookings and payment records. They shouldn’t put their customers through this. Now I have to resurrect my credit card records to prove that I paid them almost a year since I booked the trip. Despite the upgrade and the nice room, they won’t see us again.

Perfect location in the city center nearby the train station. Nice and equipped appartment.

The online check in system failed to send the access infornation, so i was unable to get the door code to get in. Then it took quite long time to reach the contact person (and that feels really inconvenient when travelling with kids in hot summer). Missing wifi access data could be bypassed through the router settings).

Exceptional

A beautiful flat in beautiful Krems. Very central in walking distance to the Donau river, Kunstmeile Krems and right in the middle of the historical city center. Wifi worked well and I could store my luggage on the last day.

Tastefully furnished loft apartment right in the old town of Krems

It was a spacious, modern and tastefully furnished loft apartment with a very comfortable bed. The lighting was nice and the apartment cool during warm weather. The ceiling was gorgeous! Communication with the hosting company was smooth. There was nice RITUALS shampoo & shower gel available to use. However, the open shower/toilet area with just glass walls was quite unusual :) Kitchenette had olive oil and vinaigrette as well as coffee and tea. The location was superb right in the middle of the old town with free parking possibility about 150m from the apartment -to unload the car you can drive right next to the apartment.

It was a noisy building. You could hear people socialising right outside the window on the corridor/courtyard terrace and cigarette smell came inside the apartment. Building work was also going on downstairs while we stayed. It would be a good idea to add an oven mitten and a dishcloth for wiping surfaces in the kitchenette. There was a common laundry room but it was being used all the time with 4h wash cycles :( I tried to use it 4 times during our stay.

The perfect location on the Eurovelo 6 in the city center. Easy check-in. Bike parking garage. Good wifi. The toilets separated from the bathroom. Generally the place is extremely comfortable and a good choice for your stay. The size of the flat is larger than what you expect

We had product for the dishwasher, but no dish washer A larger table to cook would have been appreciated

Nice and spacious apartment, ideally located.

After online check-in I got a mail with important information. What was missing in the first mail was the door code (the code field was empty). Shortly after that a second mail with the code arrived.

No hangers for towels in the bathroom or the kitchen. The dishwasher wasn‘t emptied on arrival. The first door code is quite long to memorize, but if you take more than a few seconds to check it on the phone the code panel resets.

I had a very comfortable and lovely stay.

The seating area as well as the bed are very comfortable. The apartment is at a very nice location and it was quiet during the night time.

The water from the shower ran cold after a while, which was not the most pleasant surprise, however it was sufficient for a single guest.

Disappointing

The location of the apartment is great; very central in Krems and easy to find. The receipt of the entrance code worked well and in good timing. We were able to access the apartment with the code without trouble.

The room had been used and not cleaned at our point of arrival. After sending a note to Booking.com, I was contacted by the host. He and his partner came to clean the apartment.
