Nice apartment, but unbearably noisy for us

The apartment is well located for access to the town centre, only a short walk to the shops, bar and restaurants. The space was clean and tidy and the property is well equipped in the kitchen and has a very practical and pleasant bathroom. The bedroom had enough storage space and a reasonably comfortable bed. The Fire stick in the TV was a nice touch and made access to a range of streaming services very convenient.

The main problem we had was the noise. The bed is only a few metres from (and level with) a busy road with only a single-glazed window in between. Of course, the number of vehicles reduces in the middle of the night, but getting to sleep was very challenging and the noise does continue throughout the night. For anyone who has the least difficulty sleeping or is particularly sensitive to noise this apartment should be avoided - at least bring earplugs if you can use them. Our first night was a Saturday, so the road noise was joined by people leaving nearby pubs early in the morning and having shouted conversations right outside the bedroom window - I imagine this would be less of an issue on some days of the week. My overall "poor" rating for the apartment is purely because of the noise, not anything inside the apartment itself - we came home after one night (of a 2-night booking) because of this, so our experience of the property could only be described this way.

Pleasant, close to high street and plenty of eateries within walking distance

Easy to find, excellent location, relatively easy to find parking. Local sainsburys within few minutes walk and walk further there is tesco express. Facilities provided works.

Cosy central apartment

We have stayed at this property on numerous occasions. Very central location, literally a 5 min walk to Montpellier area which is our favourite part of Cheltenham. Very tastefully decorated and ideal for a short break.

Fantastic location we were here for cricket festival so 10 minute walk to ground Wetherspoons pub 5 minutes away moon under the Water , very close to town ,parking was very good a fantastic location

Perfect city centre base for a Cheltenham break!

Very modern, immaculate condition, perfectly equipped.

We loved everything. If prospective guests are very sensitive to road noise etc then they should be aware this might not be ideal for them, but didn’t bother us in the slightest. The location more than made up for a little broom broom outside. Wonderful stay.

Location was excellent. Modern, lovely ornaments and decor. Had everything we needed. Good WiFi and TV. Very comfortable and we didn't even miss the dishwasher!

Cozy, chic and central

We have stayed in this apartment many times and it is the perfect bolt hole for visiting Cheltenham. Very central location, a 5 minute walk to the Montpellier area which we love. Very easy check in process. Great value for money. Bed very comfortable and we were grateful for the fan during an exceptionally hot weekend in June!

Excellent stay. Cheltenham itself is a great town and the surrounding area spectacular

Location was excellent. It is very close to shops, bars and restaurants. Also the host was able to register my car for the on street parking which was a great bonus. The house had everything you needed except a few coat hangers.

Just be aware that it is on a main street and therefore has a lot of road noise. But after 24 hours you have adapted to this and you don't really notice it.

Excellent apart from the noise

Excellent apartment, spacious, great facilities including washing machine, well equipped kitchen, good shower, comfortable bed. Very central location. Parking permit made parking easy.

The only problem was the noise from outside. Traffic noise for much of the day and night. People passing the windows late at night and speaking loudly. Worsened by the absence of any double or secondary glazing to the windows and front door. My partner found it difficult to sleep.

A little gem in the centre of Cheltenham

Lovely apartment, great decor and very central location with off street parking or car park opposite. Good size walk in shower, soft towels and heated towel rail. Good size wardrobe and comfortable bed. Electric heaters in main rooms which provide ample warmth as and when required.

Nothing to dislike! We have stayed on numerous occasions.

Beautiful apartment but just too noisy.

The decor was beautiful, tasteful, and everything was absolutely immaculate. Also a great central location for central Cheltenham. Parking wasn’t ideal but the host very kindly allocated me a virtual permit.

I’m afraid I had to lower the rating due to a few things. 1. I could not get the television to work (although not a massive problem - instructions would have been helpful) 2. The front wooden door is draughty and the noise from the road is EXTREMELY noisy. 3. The living room window didn’t appear to be double glazed. I honestly felt like I was sat on the runway of Heathrow airport due to the noise from the road so the television would have helped to drown out the noise. As a result, for the majority of my stay I remained in the bedroom (which is double glazed and was somewhat quieter) 4. Due to the upstairs apartment being occupied - the first night I was awoken numerous times by someone upstairs walking around thudding, I could literally hear everything even to the point where a wardrobe was opened and drawers were pulled out. This is extremely disruptive especially at 2/3am. I am, however, aware that this is beyond your control but it is worth mentioning to whoever is staying above. I actually went to boots the following day to buy some earplugs and I slept somewhat better the second night but the thudding continued. So unfortunately, for these reasons I would not return unless there was double glazing and a new front door on the property. It was honestly the noisiest apartment I have ever stayed in.

Great central location in Cheltenham

Very central location, lots of street parking options or main car park opposite. Only a short walk to the central promenade. Very comfortable, everything you need for a weekend break. Very tastefully decorated, comfortable bed. Large walk in shower. Lovely and warm when we arrived, thank you!!! We have stayed here several times, it's like a second home to us!!!. Ideal for first time visitors to Cheltenham or returning regulars just seeking a relaxing break!

Wehad a lovely stay, the location was perfect for what we needed.

it was just as shown in the photos. The flat was lovely and had everything you neede.

The water pressure in the shower was not great and it also needed secondary double glazing as the road was very noisy.

Lovely clean apartment, really bad smell in the bathroom initially that disappeared when I showered the next morning. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was extremely comfortable. central location was great for ease of access to reach town centre etc.

Constant traffic noise from a very busy road, only went quiet between 12AM and 5 AM, listening to the television was quite hard at times. some issues finding zone 1 parking spaces.
