A Fabulous Stay

This was an amazing hotel. The lobby was super spacious with inviting areas to relax in. The front desk people were extremely helpful, answering all of my questions, proving stamps, towels, whatever I needed. My room was plenty spacious snd had a fabulous little balcony from which I could watch the sunset and the storms rolling in. The pool was fantastic, with a great view of the mountains and a clean shower room. It was such a refreshing way to cool off after a day of hiking. The breakfast was plentiful and staff very attentive. The location was superb - easy walking distance to the train and the old town with all the restaurants and quaint shops were right out the back entrance. I had been traveling in Germany / Austria for over 7 weeks and this was, by far, the best accommodation and price. I did not want to leave.

Historic hotel in Bavaria with a view.

I had a room with a balcony that faced the mountains. The hotel is located right at the historic old town. The room was quiet. There were comfortable chairs in the lobby where you could linger and relax. Breakfast was provided and there was a good selection. I thought the price was very good. I loved the town of Mittenwald

Stay was memorable but I was looking for hot drinking water in the night.

Breakfast was sumptuous. Location is perfect.

No electric kettle and sachet of drinks inside the room!

First visit to Mittenwald, loved it and thr friendly staff and Mittrnwälder 😊, will definitely visit again

Good location, nice room but small facilities

The hotel has an entrance on the main pedestrian street and runs back to the main entrance and car park on the street behind. Ample free parking is a big bonus and lots of food places and small supermarkets nearby. The single room I was in was large with en-suite shower/toilet. The fittings are elegant and plenty of storage/seating. I had a small balcony looking over the town to the mountains. WIFI is reasonable, good enough to stream shows.

I expected better facilities, very small sauna and small pool. Breakfast OK but nothing special. Interior is quite dark but maybe didn't help that it was off season.

Superb

Location is nice and convenient, Staff is friendly, room is clean & functional, WIFI has good connection (my video- conference had no problem) and breakfast is good.

Very good

Everything was great except the internet in our room only worked for a few seconds and then lost connection, so we had to go down to the public area to get connected. Both of us told the reception desk.

Once more a splendid week at the Post.

I have stayed at the Post Hotel several times. I have found it to be excellent in every respect and hope to return in 2023

Lovely

Second time here - it's a great spot to explore the area with family - for walking, or skiing. And is the only place I ever been anywhere in the world that gives you a free beer every day!

Beautiful hotel!

This is a beautiful hotel in the center of the town and only a five minute walk from the train station. Our rooms had a balcony with a lovely view of the mountains. The rooms were cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was very large and delicious.We had to make an appointment for the pool and sauna because of Covid, but it worked out great and we had it to ourselves for part of the time.

A most enjoyable holiday in Mittenwald with perfect weather.

Having stayed in this hotel before I knew what to expect and especially having a room that had been upgraded and refurbished I was delighted to stay at the Post again and hope to do so next year.

Nothing -everything was fine. Therefore no further comments.

While this hotel isn't super-updated, it's very well maintained - everything is in a good condition. Breakfast is great.

Hotel bar is closed for now, maybe covid or off-season, not sure. No EV parking
