Everything required for an overnight stay, good shower facilities. Breakfast was good and staff were very helpful with a late arrival due to road closure.

Another 10/10 for the Norseman. Large bathroom with a big shower, comfy bed, sockets near the bed for charging phones, and a really friendly young chap at breakfast who was attentive to all the people in the breakfast room, including coming back to check I hadn't forgotten to request toast.

The staff were pleasant, the food good and the bathroom shower very good. Central location and free parking most welcome
Main areas could do with a refresh and lighting in our room could be improved

Staff were pleasant. And helpful
Little shabby. Bed covers on one single had marks on quilt which wasn't stained it was dirty. Room very cramped. Definitely not worth the money. To embarrassed to take photos to show family.

We had a large, very comfortable room with loads of storage space, tea and coffee making facilities, nice bathroom with toiletries. Good position within a short walk of the town centre. Lovely breakfast, good choice of fruit, cereal and cooked. The hotel is very quiet so we had a good nights sleep.
There was an issue with the hot water but hopefully that will be sorted out as they were waiting for a plumber to visit.

The property was in a great location close to the High Street and several eating places. The proprietor was very helpful, friendly and had great knowledge of all the places to visit and things to do in the surrounding area.
The stairs were slightly awkward but the hotel is on a hill, so expect some irregularities in this respect only.

Fresh fruit salad and Arbroath smokies were great options for breakfast. The garden was very colourful. Parking was good.
Because of the building's age, the twisting stairs made carrying luggage difficult. The decor was beige throughout.

A very traditional feel, with a lovely lounge bar and large room with excellent shower.
Lights in the room were a little on the cold white side rather than a more welcoming warm white.

Cleanliness and location
Not modern and could do with a facelift

Very clean, comfortable and well managed family hotel. Only a few bedrooms and ours (number4) was roomy with copious hot water for a lovely bath after a long day on the motorbike.
Nothing - honestly, nothing.

Room was clean, very good Covid measures in place and a delicious breakfast. Great shower too! Great location to stop ahead of catching any ferries. Staff was also very polite and friendly.

The owners went out of their way to give us a great stay. They lit a fire in the garden so we could relax and enjoy the view , and searched for a pump for our bike. Exceptional service

Packed lunch was a brilliant idea, and very thoughtfully put together, we even got to choose sandwich,
Spotless room was very comfy and the view was amazing
Heating obviously on low as place is still in lockdown
Earlier breakfast times possibly for business visits as 8am is great for holidaymakers, but late when on business
