Location was very good.
Breakfast very basic, poor quality ingredients.
Step in middle of room that kept tripping over.
Bedside lamp on right side didn’t work.
Couldn’t shut the window at the top.
Toilet was very grubby, bathroom to small and shower not comfortable to use.

The hosts Boz and Claire were fabulous. Very informative of the area and an absolute pleasure to meet. Breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. The property spotlessly clean and the bedroom a good size.

Ideal location just off Shanklins main street. Friendly hosts. Very clean & well organised establishment. Onsite parking. We will definitely return.

Lovely place - very good location for Shanklin beach a decent couple of nearby pubs and restaurants.
Its very clean and tidy , my room was very comfortable and warm.
And a lovely hearty full English Breakfast to start the day .
Nothing was too much trouble. Claire and Boz were exceptional hosts
I would highly recommend it , great value for money and a lovely environment.

Claire and Bos are friendly hosts with a very warm welcome which continued throughout our stay. very
helpful when I requested a lighter duvet, everywhere was lovely and clean with an enjoyable breakfast.
I found the bed a little too soft but maybe that's me and I would have liked a little more variety for breakfast
such as fruit, fresh or tinned. they have grapefruit which is fine but if you take statins you cannot eat so maybe prunes or tinned fruit would have been an alternative.

The room was very clean and tidy and all the usual accessories were available. The breakfast was varied and tasty and a traditional choice was available. The location was great for doing things in and around Shanklin.
If there was anything to complain about I would, but there isn't. As a none to confident driver, I found the drive way narrow and parking difficult, but much larger cars than ours managed to negotiated the drive way and parking spaces.

A very well laid out building, tastefully decorated (loved the Phone box) and all facilities readily available. Close to heart of Shanklin’s true beauty.

A well ran, friendly and clean place in a perfect location! Just han an excellent 4 night stay at the Braemar. The owners were more than helpful and keen to see that their guests get the most from their stay, offering good advice and a cracking breakfast too! The location was perfect too in a quiet street off the main road but still close to good pubs and restaurants and not too far from the beach either

Food was plentiful & cooked to perfection.

The whole house is spotless & our room (no 2) was large & very comfortable with a lovely furnished balcony.
Claire & Boz are wonderful hosts, very pleasant & chatty, worth asking their advice on what to see & do.

There was so much to like. If was here with my wife, the bed would have been a little cozy but that's a good thing :)

lovely, great hosts, spacious dining
room (where a good breakfast is served efficiently every morning) bar area and lounge area.
Our room was spotless and comfortable with everything you need including access to the balcony complete with table and chairs, lovely for an early morning cuppa

Boz & Claire are amazing hosts, extremely welcoming, nothing was to much trouble, everything was perfect, the room was very comfortable and had a door straight out onto a sun deck with seating area, breakfast was fantastic also a great base to explore the island, we will definitely be doing a return visit.

Breakfast very good, owners very friendly and make you very welcome, this was my second stay and I’m going back tomorrow for a few days. Good restaurants and pins nearby, and not to far to walk to the seafront.
My room was a tad small for some one of my size but everything you require was there, nice clean towels, hair dryer, tea and coffee and at the end of the day you don’t want to stay in your room when your away.

The owners could not have been more kind and helpful. All services were excellent including the lovely breakfast. Would definitely recommend and would like to stay there again ourselves.
