Located close to Asakusa metro line for great access to either Narita or Haneda airports or connecting via Shinkansen, plus with some decent neighbourhood restaurants close by and busier areas within walking distance, this is a great base to have in Tokyo for arriving to/from the airport/bullet train and getting across the city. The rooms are on the small side but do the job for providing a comfortable bed and shower to allow you to enjoy the city.
The room I had was on the side of the building with a view of another side of a building and little natural light coming through. Fine for staying a night or two, but any longer and it might drive you stir crazy.

Very nice staff, comfy bed.
I did not request a smoking room, was given a smoking room, could not get out of the smoking room, really ruined the stay for me. Was disgusted by the smell all night and woke up shortly after 4 AM and couldn't get back to sleep.

The room was small but had all the fittings and fixtures arranged in a very efficient manner. The location was perfect and was only minutes away from the subway trains. Going to locations such as Akihabara and Asakusa was really quick. There were also plenty of options for eating out just within a short walk from the hotel.
The air conditioning felt slightly dry and so we requested for a humidifier which the staff were happy to provide us.

Good location with a lot of shops and restaurants around. Nice and friendly staff, we could keep our luggage after check out.
Very small room. But we knew that was the case.

Hotel clàssic de la companyia APA d'habitacions petites però funcionals. Està ubicat en una zona prou tranquila però a 20 minuts caminant del barri 'Otaku'. A prop també del bus i un metro que es pot utilitzar amb la JR Pass

It was really clean and it was easy to access from the station, only a couple minutes and you'd be there.
The staff was really friendly and helpful and tried there best even when they couldn't speak English.

La ubicación es muy buena, Justo enfrente del hotel está la entrada a la estación de metro, y caminando puedes llegar a algunos lugares, cerca hay 7ven y a menos de dos cuadras una calle súper linda con restaurantes
El personal habla poco inglés

This hotel is a very budget friendly hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything you could possibly need ! I had breakfast in the hotel and I was very impressed with it. The staff were friendly and helpful and they spoke English which is a help for fellow foreign travellers. The location was excellent -a direct metro from Haneda airport will get you to the hotel.

Room was fine for what it is (not large). Location was a bit of a walk from the station, but it wasn't far by any means. Otherwise the room was clean and everything worked fine.
The pillow(s) choice was odd for me as it was a little too thick if I used both as they seem to expect but just slightly too thin if you use just one.

i stayed at this hotel twice. once after my arrival in japan and once just before my departure. in total almost a week. i didn't know the neighborhood before, but i have to say that the location was excellent for me personally. asakusabashi is very central, you can quickly get to asakusa or akihabara and there are several subway stations in the immediate vicinity. several supermarkets are, like everywhere in tokyo, in walking distance and there are also various restaurant options in the area.
the hotel itself was very clean, the team members i met were all very friendly and - what i appreciate very much - all tried to speak english. rooms are generally a bit smaller in japan, but for me alone it was no problem. for me it was exactly as i expected and i would book again anytime.

I don't like the breakfast. Not worth the price

For the price, I didn't expect such a nice place. Had it's own bathroom and shower in each room. Staff were super nice and helpful. Was close to the train station which is always a big plus.
It's a little small but that's par for the course for most places that have good prices. Not really a minus. Just dont expect to be able to fit a bunch of suitcases anywhere.

We know this hotel from previous stays and it is nice to know what to expect. There is a large Life supermarket nearby which is very handy. Lately a lot of new take out places and restaurantes opened around it so that is good too. Because it is on train stop away from Akihabara, prices are lower, and well worth it. You can travel direct from and to the airport from Asakusabashi station which is very handy and for 1300 yen only (Nov 2022). If you catch the right train (orange line) you dont even have to transfer trains at Oishage. Staff are always very helpful.
