期待以上でした。

御所が至近距離にあり、ロケーションがよく、少し散歩するとお店もあるので、便利だと思います。

部屋着が浴衣しかないので、もう少し着やすい物が有ればと思います。

Friendly staff, reasonably good location, 7-11 nearby, comfortable bed, clean, microwave room for common use. Nice breakfast for Y1470 (choice between Western and Japanese version, I tried the latter and it was good, although not much in quantity), looking at a lovely stone garden.

Small room (not a surprise though). The hotel did not provide a description of how to reach it from Osaka airport, although I had asked twice before my arrival.

超出预想的性价比，酒店和房间很美丽，地理位置也不错

酒店就在京都御所对面，也算在皇帝的旁边睡了。这个性价比在国庆节超高，房间比照片好看，房间很大，干净整洁，酒店设施非常完善，给人感觉像星级酒店~房间钥匙是一把真的复古欧式钥匙，稍微有点点重量，但是很可爱。酒店员工也非常热心友好！走路15分钟能到清澈的鸭川，虽然很累但是我们早上有起来去那跑步~如果再来京都，我可能会考虑再次入住。

离热门的祗园有2km。我们住这里是方便去下鸭神社，大概距离1.5km~

The staff were very friendly and professional. The decor of the hotel, though a bit dated, was interesting.

The rooms themselves could do with a few upgrades and the walls are not sound proof so you can clearly hear people in the hallways and other rooms at times.

Exceptional staff with a beautiful location in central Kyoto.

Outstanding staff, especially at the Front Desk who go out of their way to assist in whatever question or need you may have. Location on the west side of the Imperial Palace Gardens is ideal. Excellent value Japanese breakfast with an option for western style. Hotel restaurant overlooks a beautiful Japanese garden. Second floor meeting rooms are welcoming with an expansive and comfortable lobby area with large windows with beautiful views of the Imperial Gardens.

Would have appreciated the lighter duvet and softer pillows.

The room was decent and clean. All the amenities within the room worked. There is a station a short walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A pleasant stay for work

Good location, close to the subway station. I travelled for work and didn’t have much time for sightseeing but seeing that it’s also close to a couple of temples, church and particularly the Imperial palace garden.

The breakfast price seems expensive and has limited choices.

Great place to stay for the imperial palace!

Cool place with unique key. It was so close to the imperial palace.

Nice facilities. Every was smooth.

A bit far from train stations - had to do quite a fair bit of walking to get around. There are some buses that stop nearby though

Great location right next to the National Garden. No issues with cleanliness or size.

Room was extremely hot upon entering, no way to adjust temperature of the heat (only the wind speed). You need to return the room key to the front desk anytime you leave the building.

Kyoto Garden Palace is nice

People were always ready to help, front desk was open 24 hours a day.

I found it a bit strange that I had to leave my key at the reception when I went out, but I guess this has to do with their policy to now allow visitors in the rooms. Also, some employees did not speak much english, but they were still very friendly and one could always explain what one wants to do/have.

Would definetly recommend Kyoto Garden Palace!

Great breakfast! There was a choice between Japanese and Western style sets, I chose the Japanese style and it was amazing. Also many different drink options available, with ice coffee being a huge bonus. Plus, the dining area has a beautiful view of a lush garden with a koi pond. The room was fantastic, very clean and comfortable, with powerful AC which was wonderful in the humidity of Kyoto. A comfy yukata was provided, along with multiple amenities such as a toothbrush, razor etc. The staff were super friendly! I only stayed one night so I didn't have a lot of interaction with them, but nonetheless everyone was so nice. The location was perfect for my needs. The hotel is easily accessible via the subway and city buses, although I took a taxi from Kyoto Station, which took about 10 minutes. All in all a great experience! For such an affordable price Kyoto Garden Palace really exceeded my expectations.
