Everything. The house is thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with local arts and crafts, the powder white sand and pristine crystal water, the food, those mojitos, and the friendly helpful staff.

If I have to say anything … it would be the flush of toilet. to avoid any problem do not put any paper…

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, very spacious with plenty of places to sit and have breakfast. The food is great but pricy, but then again you're in a beautiful beach resort in a tropical paradise so who cares. The hotel is right on the beach, you open your room doors and the tropical paradise beach is staring you in the face. The staff was great, very friendly.

The service in restaurant and bar closed at 7:30, I guess cause it was low season and we were the only guests. I didn't mind that much, but it was a little weird for all the staff to leave after that. No receptionist, no night guard, no one else at all. We were totally alone in an abandoned hotel, which was a unique experience on its own. We ended up getting drunk on beers and running around the empty hallways which was fun, but it freaked out my wife a little Oh and there's no hot water in the showers.

Beautiful house with only 5 rooms in an amazing beach. the staff was excellent, cordial, professional and the cook worked around their fixed menu that consists basically of fish and seafood , preparing delish vegetarian dishes for myself and my friend. Sunsets are indescribable and the property is kept impecable at all times .

The mattresses are so hard , with springs that it was almost impossible to have a good night sleep . pillows just ok but mattresses need to either be upgraded or covered with a layer of foam mattress topper . there is no hot water in any of the rooms but the suite the residence is not exactly cheap and the price calls for better mattresses and hot water There are no options for snacks other than some seafood , no cheese , no nuts, nothing to have with a cocktail before dinner the kitchen closes by 7.30 pm which is way too early having into consideration that sunset is happening around that time menu deserves to be updated taking into consideration other diet preferences other than fish and meat . boats arrive around noon until 4 pm to use the beach and the restaurant , it gets crowded and noise and the guests that are staying at the Residence need to put up with loud music, drank boaters and the smell of gasoline

Wonderful hotel, private beach, nice rooms. Everything is very tastefully decorated. You feel like you're in a country villa.

Staff not very helpful.The hotel is on an island, the exit from the area is complicated (so we were told by the staff) and the prices of food and drinks are very, very high - we had to pay 2USD for each small bottle of water.

The buildings and decor are nice. The staff is nice until something goes wrong.

It is located right next to a party beach so all day from 11am-6pm you have a disco next door with load jet skis ,boats, loud music snd people screaming all day. El hotel esta Ubicado directamente al lado de una playa de fiesta entonces hay mucho ruido todo el día. Also, the wifi wasn’t working and they lied about it. They also were extremely difficult about reducing the price of my stay because of it. They even threatened to hold me there and miss my flight. Cuidado si algo no funciona … el management está súper difícil y 0% amable . I do not recommend this place. No recomiendo el hotel. It is pretty but I don’t trust the management to do the right thing if something goes wrong. It is also very loud at the beach all day.

The beach sun sand and pool area are beautiful

Anything created or managed by man. The whole week was a wreck. The hotel makes no arrangements for travel to the location. You are left to try and haggle a cab or boat. Fees for same vary wildly from 50 US to 300 US. On location there is only one choice for food. The on-site food was borderline inedible. I have traveled the whole world and extensively in Mexico. The food at Agua Azul was among the worst. Poor quality poor preparation and prices exceed those in NYC! We were so disgusted by the food quality that we basically ate only bread and fries. The crowing achievement was bed bugs. After being bitten we abandoned the remaining term of our prepaid visit and split. We suffered for almost a week with terrible sores and itching. It was horrible. They tried at every turn to overcharge us. There were no redeeming factors. Avoid Agua Azul at all costs.
