Underwhelming

Great spot near the water which is perfect for snorkelling

The pool was smaller than expected and did not look clean. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the facilities and decided to check out a day early, however upon bringing our bags down, the owner Grace was particularly confrontational about why were leaving and that we had to pay for both nights which was expected as I was standing there waiting to pay. She said I had confused the staff due to changing our plans. I will not be returning to stay at karma kayak in future

Perfect little hotel with fantastic staff and food. Amazing snorkelling just off the beach.

Staff were brilliant. So friendly. Hotel super clean and well looked after- the gardens are lovely. Lovely food considering a small hotel. Breakfast tacos were the best. Great rooms with large terraces. We had a first floor sea view. One of the best margaritas I’ve ever had!

Ants around the pool. There’s a nest under the decking.

How the was working! Evrything was clean And nice. Breakfast! Drinks! (I dint have luch/Donner herec So i can't ráže) Also they cleaned the beach And rebuild the set-up od chairs a tables differently for sunset/sunrise. Location Is Calm, if you Are looking fór something differente you need to take a walk around Island (doesnt matter with way, in like 15-20minutes you Will get IT:-)

Great beach hotel for a pleasant stay

Staff & service were great. Comfy bed. Nicely located on the quieter side of the island.

Our booking implied we’d be on the ground floor rooms but we were checked into one slightly different. The only other issue was the construction right next to our room - this should be noted on booking as it goes all day from 9am to 5pm, we wouldn’t have booked had we known.

Peaceful and confortable stay.

Nice atmosphere and clean. Super kind and helpful staff.

Management seems not interested in small things that makes the stay more confortable. No bicycle, no snorkelling mask. You have to go to the next door hotel to get them.

The stuff was amazing! So friendly and helpfull, always smiling. The food was great and tastefull, good amount of option

Beautiful beach and cosy bungalows. Property was very clean and well kept garden. The location is excellent, because it is located in more quite side of the island, but still quite close to the harbor and center of the island. Only 15-20 minutes bike ride.

good staying!

clean, stuff friendly, close to the beach

the breakfast was a bit disappointing as not all was included and said breakfast included; have to purchase a part if wants eat more them one dish per person also coffee need to be purchased so very limited options.

The room was nice and clean, exactly how in the picture. The only things is that location of the room, it was facing pool and from all the windows you see people so no privacy unless you close all the curtains which is not so convenient at a day time.

From the center it's a but far to walk or take a bike. Especially after the sunset time the road can be dark and not comfy to fund your way unless you take horse carriage.

owner and staff super friendly. Located in a quieter area of the island. Rooms were clean and everything working well. Food meals and pool service

everything was great, included breakfast could have a few more options. Need to consider that most attractions are from the port/pier and it is a 20-30min walk or pay for local transport

It is in quite location, so you feel like you have a private beach. Also, you can do snorkling in front of the beach of the hotel and if you are lucky you can see turtle

Not good value for money compare to overall package of the hotel. The hotel facility and breakfast are basic.

Rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff looked after us whenever we needed anything.

Food options for kids were limited. Many of the choices had too many flavours. Also only drink options were soft drinks or water for kids

Wonderfull stay!

The location is amazing! Corals and nice fishes can be found at the beach right in front of the hotel. Rooms are nice and clean. Also beautifull sunsets

very nice light rooms with comfortable beds. Location is good as it’s between sunset on west side, the village on east side l, and turtle point right in front of it. Staff was helpful.

The pool area doesn’t invite to chill there but that’s ok as the beach is right there which also has a restaurant area and beach beds

very relaxing

Close to the beach and amazing view when having breakfast with feet in the sand all day. Even though far from the center you can spend the hole day here enjoying the relax

They have a great potencial to make a wonderful propriety ( it's a bit old , medium service and quality of food)

The staff are amazing. Front of house Annie is wonderful and the boys are brilliant! From raking the gardens to cleaning the pool and serving food and drinks their attention to detail is exceptional. They are all so very friendly. The food was first class big thank you to the kitchen staff.

ok but not ok

Nice and basic hotel. Bikes parking in the garden. Our room was on the first floor. You can have your breakfast on the beach. Local staff was very kind, but the owner Grace was really rude in more than one situation.

When I booked this room I asked some questions because the photos were a little bit confusing and the owner, Grace "suggested" to cancel my reservation and go to another hotel if I wasn't sure to stay there. I decided to trust the process and go to the Karma Kayak: BAD CHOICE. I understand they are recovering from Covid and I feel bad writing this review, but people need to know. She was rude in more than one situation and I dont raccomend to deal with her. (I read more reviews on Google that say the same). The photos are nicer than in the reality: you dont have blackout curtains, no mini fridge, no double towel (you have one for washbasin and shower), you can open the safe by room key and not by code (whaaat???), a very small closet. The street along the sea is interrupted, so you have to go through the jungle with your bike during day&night (20min to the harbour). Also, the beach is very rocky and it's impossible to swim. The outdoor furniture seems nice but you will realize are ripped off and dirty. As complementary breakfast you can order just one plate between 5 (i.e. one egg with two little slices of bread or half banana with cinammon and 3 crepes)...it's very small for what the other hotels (with the same standards) in Indonesia usually offer. Last but not the least, they will offer you a welcome drink (ice and something), I asked for a fresh coconut instead (a client was there asking about it) and they were very rude specifying the cost that was first 30idr and then 32idr...c'mon guys! you can do better!

For me it's the best location on Gili T.. If you want to party, then it's not for you but if you like to watch sea turtles during breakfast, swim and snorkel in the morning and enjoy a gorgeous sun-set, don't look any further. The rooms are as beautiful as on the pictures and the staff is ljust lovely.

It would be great to have the option to rent snorkel gear directly at the place. You can rent it very close by, so not a big issue, rather a suggestion.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, amazing sunsets!

Pleasant room for a nice price. Amazing view and beautiful location right on the beach. Quiet and cozy place, away from the busy area. Staff are very friendly and attend to all your needs. Great spot for snorkeling, watching the sunset and having a drink at the beach. Breakfast, lunch, dinner are all incredible. We ate here very often and we were so amazed by the food. Very impressive!

The coffee at breakfast could be improved but that’s being worked on so not a long term issue!

perfect location, on the opposite side of the harbour so the sea is definitely better (can also see turtles). staff is great. try the food cause it’s delicious. can rent the bike for 50k per day.

The location of the property is amazing. Sunset view is brilliant. Good beach access for swimming and snorkeling.

The staff doesn't understand English. It's very difficult to communicate. Food options are almost nil for vegetarians and vegans.

Great location - toes in the sand all day long!

Perfect location that allows you to spend all day at the beach. Great food! And the sunsets will make you speachless.

The service needs to pick-up after Covid but the progress on day to day basis is visible thanks to the attentive management.
