Super convenient location, staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and well-appointed, and overall a charming place to stay with a family.

Location was nice, staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was good.
It’s quite a noisy building, rooms have no soundproofing, so every noise on the corridor can be heard. And the did not provide a “do not disturb” card for the room door.

They don't have air conditioner , and we asked twin beds we got double bed ! Very dangerous staircase ! And small room for 2 persons .
We lost a T-shirt Tommy that was in the room and they didn't find it .

This was a bizarre hotel with a few great things and far too many negative points. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great too. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well in it considering it wasn’t very long and my feet were hanging out. Location great for any business in Bergen.
Where to start. The room was the tiniest I’ve ever been in. You couldn’t do anything except lie on the bed. I was there three nights they never once brushed the floor. Or even leave me a brush so I could do it myself. They didn’t replace the shower gel thing even though it was clearly empty. The bathroom/ wet room was tiny and if you had a shower you you couldn’t go to the toilet for ages as the floor was soaking and you kept getting your socks wet. The bathroom also had a really weird drain smell. Finally, the sound insulation is a joke. You hear everything. If someone walks down the stairs it’s like wildebeest crossing the Serengeti.

Delicious, varied breakfast.
Jan at welcome/check-in was a charming delight.
Love the signs asking us to save our towels.
Our big, beautiful bed had 2 separate blankets. (???)
The shower doors leaked, so there was some water on the floor.

Breakfast was great, room 42 was excellent for us 5 members that we were together and the location was nice and quiet. I have been in the Netherlands several times since 1969.

My reservation was very spontaneously and pretty late, and I am grateful that it still worked.
The room was super small - it wasn't even possible to close the door of the bathroom. The stairs were super tricky - not dogfriendly at all. There were not enough parking slots (but this could be because I booked very spontaneously). The staff could not even decide by himself to allow me parking the car for two minutes in the free staff parking slot for bringing my luggage in.

Great breakfast! We had a small room (kabouter room) but for me and my partner it worked fine. They arranged the room well so we still had enough space to put away and hang up our clothes. It was good we had a backpack, a suitcase may have been more in the way. We could hear people upstairs walking around but it was only for a little while. Good space to park our bikes.
They could take away one of the chairs as it was blocking the bathroom room.
There was a lamp between our beds, which was pretty weird. A smaller lamp which fits on one of the sides would have been better.

Location, location, location
Property is getting older. That’s visible in dining area and hallways.
Room is okay

The staff made all good
Very charming in the outside
Bed was not bad
Central lication
Really badly needs a make over soon
Mold in bathroom on the walls, old shower, light from the hall way shining through the door sides, poor or actually no ventilation, wires hanging of the wall to try and teach the tv, no cupboard, bad lights in the room, and worst: one can hear every noice in the whole hotel ( farts, alarms, snorring not to mention all other noises)
Luckily they provide earbuds 🤭
Not worth its money tho the staff make all good: super friendly and since these are hard times, we should give them some time to act upon .
