the only positive was that it was central and convenient to shops - a nice trays of selection for coffee tea etc but that could be found anywhere

This is posted by someone who has been working in the hotel industry for many years before also operating as a laundering head of services for the NHS - I think I am qualified to know what or how it should be cleaned and that aint it! This is what the room was like during our stay = stained blinds/ dirty windows / which meant that sea view was not that great/ stained bedding /shower with no pressure, dust on top of bathroom light / light shades very dusty and dirty in the bedrooms / skidmarks on wall/ room with no way of plugging a phone in meaning you best bring your own plug / bathroom seal on sink and shower a total shocker / very bad coffee for breakfast / stained cushions / the tv was not moving off its bracket which meant it was stuck by the wall making viewing rather auwkward /the pillows and duvet set had seen better days/ every hour on the hour the fridge was making a vrooming noise which meant your sleep go disturbed and while I did not have a great amount of comfortable sleep either due to a really uncomfortable mattress. there is loads of knick knack and decorations to try and make the place feel nice and with a maritime theme but there is no good service or substance to the place in question. The booking was made for a birthday occasion and while one occupier was disabled. No disable access or facility and it was well, well overpriced for what we got. at the end of the stay, the full bedding was stripped away and left on the floor to make sure that it would be laundered for a next occupier but not sure if that would have been executed. Next time I will not trust the good reviews for this establishment and I would go elsewhere.

Room very clean and beds very comfortable. Kettle, water, milk tea bags, coffee, biscuits, fridge and microwave.

Julie and Wilson are lovely hosts, the breakfast is really delicious. The place is clean and quiet, close to sea and town. Lots of colourful hanging baskets in the backyard

The matress is a quite worn out
