The host was very kind and the apartment clean und comfortable. The sea is directly next to the apartment.

The only bad thing was that we must leave after seven days, we would have loved to stay longer.

The location was superb. About 100 yards up a side alley from the the very busy promenade. The Villa does not serve meals but the promenade was one mass of eateries.

Finding the hotel!!! Our taxi driver was useless, but eventually phoned the Villa and found he could not drive there. The owner said he would walk toward the drop off place and meet us. Leaving was easy, his son's car had a special sticker to allow driving on the promenade and dove us to the airport.

Great host, great locality! Especially liked that the first available beach was only 2 minutes walk away from the apartment. Also there were many small beaches around the Cavtat shore line to choose from. The host - Miro - is very friendly and was extremely helpful at any point during the day, we could count on him for a good advice. Overall cleanliness was top notch, there is nothing to criticize whatsoever. Please be aware that this place is close to the airport and that the airplanes are to be heard regularly, but for us this wasn't a problem.

The bed was rather small for our liking, but we are spoiled from home where we use king sized beds. Also some utensils like ladle were missing in the shared kitchen (or at least we couldn't find it).

The host is awesome and very helpful. Place is very nice, clean and in center of town. Beach is just 50m away, along with many restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Villa in the perfect location. The host Milo welcomed us with a glass 0f Orange liquer and water for us and the dog. The view from our room was glorious. A calm sanctuary with plenty of storage space and Aircon worked perfectly and after a good nights sleep we felt ready to hit the road again.

Nothing! Just check you know how to find it with the host as we assumed it was in the square near the car park.

Villa Filipa was a lovely old building with a stunning garden and a quaint little chapel. It was in a fabulous location right next to the monastery on the harbour
