The room was big and the beds nice--we had a sweet balcony too! While we didn't use the pool, it looked really sweet as did the surrounding grounds.
The room door was not seated well--you could slide your hand between the door frame and the wall--so there was an incredible amount of street. noise that came into the place. The bathroom was a bit rough too.

There was a 2” gap around the entire door frame. There are exposed electrical wires in the bathroom and bedroom. Every time I tried to shut the door the whole door frame would move and was clearly held in place by a few drywall screws. The water pressure was awful and there was an open sewer drain in the floor of the bathroom with a loose plastic cap on it. There were old sheets on the bed but no comforter or blanket. The pool was dirty.

Pool and area around pool were nice, room was very good (some of them are less blessed with perks I think), staff is fantastic, all considered a good value.
If you want to be able to sleep before 1 am, check on week end parties scheduled (also, when they occur, it is hard to get reservations).

I loved the location and my room was spacious and well-lit, with a small patio and next to the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the adjoining restaurant, owned by the same person; and had a fantastic experience there.
I will return here if I am ever in San Carlos again. Great place, great value!

Location, good AC , clean room
Terrible service, Front Staff with bad manners, No tv cable , no internet. Old facilities in poor conditions.
The photos that appear in Booking might be old , because the rooms that the hotel gave us were completely different.

very dirty , very noisy most of the night with loud music at the pool, door to my unit broken , wouldn’t close easily or open , inside security latch broken, numerous tiles in shower broken or missing, was like taking a shower in a gravel pit, someone else’s hair everywhere, no safe for valuables,just crap

no heat in rooms! 2 inch gap below door. Bright, horrible LED lights, really crappy bathroom/shower. Especially thin walls- we were kept awake half the night by neighbors

The tv did not work. Coffee mashing did not work . Fossets (Two ) in bad shape. I cancelled one night and they reimburse me with minus around $ 25/ $ 30 dollars . The rest should be coming from you they said.
